There is no restaurant at 700 deep valley drive. They moved 2 years ago to Torrance.

No! Expected the previous Appetizer when they were uphill but No! Bread horrible-- Meatballs horrible-- Marinara sauce-- Horrible! On a more positive note, staff members very nice, but since I'm not a cannibal, staff alone are not enough. My Suggestion: Close down until they find a good cook

I was running errands in Torrance today and I had to order my favorite eggplant dish before returning home! I’m in Heaven! I could eat this everyday! I couldn’t resist eating it once I got home! Sorry no before photo!!!!

Great sandwiches, especially the corned beef and pastrami. Haven't tried the pasta yet.

Pizza was ok. Pasta dishes and soup were all super salty. They're not going to change their recipes being in business as long as they have so I'll stick to pizza only.

Food is amazing and I always get free delivery and it's super fast! So many different menu items to choose from and the veggie sandwich is to die for!

Did ownership change from the original Appetizer up on the hill? We ordered pizza for pick up. When we got home and opened the box I IMMEDIATELY knew it was not the same as it used to be. The crust looks pre-made and not nearly as crisp, the sauce was pure tomato, and the cheese was not the same quality or quantity. It did not have the same lovely aroma nor quality ingredients. It was only slightly above frozen pizza. I have lived on the peninsula my entire life and always support local business. What the heck happened here?

Always looking for a great piece of pizza and after checking reviews on Yelp I figured I would give this place a try. I wanted to keep it original so went with a cheese pizza and a calzone and was not disappointed. As soon as I walked in you could smell the fresh sauce and ingredients. Service was very friendly and the food was great, I enjoyed everything especially the pizza that had such a good old school flavor that you don't see a lot anymore. Really looking forward to my next visit here.

Our meals were yummy! Eggplant Parm, Chicken Piccata, Lasagna and Chicken Parm. All came with garlic bread & salad. Really good portion sizes so it was a great value too! Friendly on phone and at pick up.

Went to the Appetizer the day it opened...ate there at least twice a week and became good friends with Al and Lucille.  I used to go there on Christmas Eve morning about 5 AM.  Take my own pots and pans, bacon, sausage, eggs, coffee cakes and make breakfast for Al, Lucille, George, Alex and the rest.  When breakfast was ready I called a time out and they ate.  Meanwhile I washed my pots and pans and headed home.  They were like family.  Al was the heartbeat of the Appetizer, now Mary Anne is.  She is her dad.

This place has the best Italian dishes in the South Bay hands down! LA County's best Forsure!! Must try spaghetti and clams!

Small place but Super friendly. It Smelled so good in there and that was before I ordered anything! I got an order of garlic bread and a can of coke (dinner of champs) wich was less then 4 bucks. I will be coming back to try their other eats.
