Traditional Japanese soba/udon noodle restaurant located in old Torrance. Place draws always a crowd, walk up and place your order, pay and wait for your number to be called. Homemade noodles with great combo sets that are filling and authentic. 5 stars, would highly recommend?Parking: Street parking available on both directions outside restaurant

This place has been around forever and I'm happy to see them grow! From a small hut taking cash only to now the double sized location and taking cards!Their soba and udon are home made and a very unique glow to their noddles. The soba looks a little clear. And the udon is very thin with texture.I am so mad I didn't take photos of my friends plates as everyone had a good spread of noodles. The nebaneba has been my favorite to go to.I sometimes get their kakiage a la carte It's like $7 but super huge!!! It's super good but I wish they just made it half the price and gave half the amount Regardless this place has all your favorite noodle additions! Tempura, shabu shabu meat, etcYou can also get donburi and their combo is fair priced. When you feel like you can get more you can always get foster freeze soft serve next door!

A good friend told me that the soba noodles are handmade in the back of this restaurant and the story is too good to check because the soba is awesome. I like it cold but you can get it hot. It feels (and is) so healthy. Hot and cold teas are complimentary.

Service was great, the staff made steps to rectify an incorrect order. The mentai oroshi soup was remarkably balanced between salty and umami. The store itself felt Hawaiian since they kept playing aloha type music. Furniture felt a little old, but it's not really a factor you'd consider while coming here to eat

I found this authentic Japanese restaurant on yelp in such a charming neighborhood and decided to check it out. We parked in a small parking lot in the back. We were then greeted so kindly when we entered. The ambiance felt so homey and cozy. They had an option to drink their tea - I believe it was barley. We ordered the hot unagi udon and hot tanuki soba. The wait was a bit long and I was starving but the wait was so worth it. The rich broth and tender home-made noodles was so delicious!!

Located in old town, Torrance. This place feels like a mom and pop type place with kind of a authentic Japanese vibe to it (coming from someone who's never been to Japan). Just really helpful and friendly people when you order at the counter. Once you order you find a seat in there someone small building.I ordered the tempura bowl with cold soba noodles served with a dipping sauce. The tempura was good, but I think the star here was the soba noodles. I think they make it in house. The texture it was just so perfect I feel like. Firm and chewy with a very great flavor to it. Also, I just loved the presentation when the order was brought to me.There's self serve water and tea, close by the area you order from. I came during the day at a weird time between lunch and dinner so street parking was just so very easy to find. Not a problem at all. I really enjoy this restaurant and places like this. Definitely would recommend if you want to get some really good soba noodles. The menu seems to be a little extensive as well, so definitely would love to come back and try some other other items.

Quiet little spot that serves amazing soba! Came here with my fiancée - she got the cold Natto Kimchi Soba and I got the cold Kakiage Soba. Both were great! The Kakiage basically came with a whole tempura fried onion with shrimp mixed in. Super crunchy and flavorful. The soba noodles had great flavor - a bit less "wheaty" than the soba noodles we typically make at home. The dashi broth was nice and light too, not too salty. Food came out quick and the staff was friendly. Would definitely recommend this spot for lunch!

This is great real Japanese food! It’s not “fast” food. Expect to eat fresh food! I didn’t wait SO long but the food does take some time. It’s very much worth it! ??

Couple who owned the restaurant were lovely - front desk girl didn't look like she wanted to be there. Must try to cold Soba - I ordered the hot one and ate more of my friend's cold one.
