Absolutely delish! I come to this bakery specifically for their Oreo cake roll. I guess it can also be called an Oreo Swiss Cake roll? Whatever the name... it's a definite must try! The cake is moist, chocolatey, decadent and just YUM. Satisfies a sweet tooth but doesn't overly sweetened the tooth at all. Bakery is located inside a small shopping center with somewhat ample parking. Staff is friendly and polite. Must try if you're in the South Bay or if you're like me, worth the 15+ mile drive

Always passed by this bakery but never bought anything from there until recently. I've been missing out! I ordered a last minute birthday cake for my niece. It was a coffee strawberry chiffon cake. Very good. Not too sweet, delicious coffee flavor and fresh strawberries.
I have been coming to JJ Bakery in Torrance for years and everything I have bought from them have been good and satisfying. While I was there yesterday I saw that they have the prosperity cakes which usually are sold during Chinese New Year. I immediately bought a couple thinking they should be good as they are made by JJ Bakery. It was a disappointment. Very dry and tasted like they were days old. I know I will not be eating them and instead of throwing them away I brought them back to exchange for something else. I was told by the employee that they are supposed to be dry and that I should steam them. I have had other prosperity cakes from other bakeries and the ones by JJ Bakery are by far the worst prosperity cakes, not by taste, but because of the dryness. I ended up just leaving the prosperity cakes as they do not want to exchange them for something else. Why do I need to steam them? I did not refrigerate or freeze them? I bought them to eat right away, while "fresh".
