Staff was friendly and helpful, but food was not good. Nothing special about salsa and guacamole, everything tasted blend, not a good place to eat for vegetarians. Margarita was good so gave it a 3 star.

Pretty delicious. We requested easy cheese because in the past, things were absolutely swimming in cheese. Happy to report they made it with less cheese but it tasted just as good without all the extra goo. I've only gotten pick up. They were extremely busy, especially the tiny bar area, but I don't remember waiting too long. Friendly staff. Getting pricey, though.

A pleasant surprise. We were amazed by the homey atmosphere and smiling lady taking care of us on a Thursday evening. We ordered recommended 2 taco plate, a wet burrito plate, nachos and tostadas. Ordered 2 regular margaritas as well. The portions were generous and we ended up taking it home. The taste was delicious it tasted like a home cooked meal. Overall another restaurant to go back for an excellent meal.

Usually these guys are my favorite when it comes to Puerto Vallarta I just spent 60 bucks on two dinners. I didn't get plasticware. I didn't get the cheese I was supposed to get why can't they get their takeout right? Very pissed off

The food is good, but lacks real Latin spicy flavor. There is a variety of flavors to choose from, the enchiladas were okay. If you order pick up, the food is low quality.Kid-friendliness: This restaurant has booster seats for children and the waitress love children.

I love everything about this place. From the margaritas to the nachos supreme. The service is always warm and welcoming. The beans taste authentic. They put real meat in your nachos. This is my to go place when I want nachos. I haven't found any other place that beats La Capilla. They are so forth giving with their portions. The staff are always smiling and so friendly. It can get loud when dining in. This place is a good time. You can come with large or small parties. There is ample parking within walking distance in an indoor garage. Otherwise you are lucky if you find parking on the outside. I ordered nacho supreme to go with beef. And even though they got my order wrong and gave me chicken, I will still give 5 stars. This is the first time they have ever messed up on an order. The restroom could be a lot larger. It's only two stalls. The restaurant gives a warm vibe. Next time I'll post a pic of the nachos. I was so hungry that I forgot

I sat and sat and sat waiting on a server. I had to ask the hostess to send someone. It was hard to get service the whole time (Wednesday Dinner time). They focused on large parties as opposed to solos. The food is good. I ordered pick two platter with two crunchy tacos rice and corn. The 1st taco was good. The 2nd was soggy because they serve it on a bed of lettuce. The free chips and salsa was meh. The salsa to me doesn't look tasty but tasted great and brings the heat. But to me, the chips tasted stale. They had a special posted on the wall that no one told me about. I saw it after I ordered. I may come back and try something else at lunch. Perhaps the service will be best at that time.

Been eating here over 25 years and they are so consistent with food, service and culture. I love LA Capilla!

I've been going here for about 12 years now. The atmosphere is great. Margaritas are good and so are the complementary chips and salsa.Unfortunately, it's a different story when you order take out. You can expect luke warm/cold food and a small amount of chips and salsa. I ordered 4 meals for a party of 4 and was only given 1 small container of salsa with a small bag of chips ( enough for one person ) to share amongst 4 people. When I asked for more salsa, I was told I had to pay extra on top of my $60 bill.Overpriced and not worth it to me. I'll take my business elsewhere.
