My wife and I have been going to the Lucille's BBQ for years. We always had good meals, when eating in the restaurant. Lately, we have been getting take-out food. It seems the take-out food is generally not as fresh as eating in the restaurant, but perhaps that is just a coincidence. Last night, March 31, 2024, I picked-up some BBQ chicken, baby back rigs, baked beans and coleslaw. The chicken appeared to have been cooked sometime and had been sitting for a while and was dry, the ribs were good. However, within about 3 to 4 hours, both my wife and I had severe diarrhea. My general impression is that management is not watching the kitchen closely enough. This happens to good restaurants, when the managers simply don't manage.

Typical over-priced chain restaurant food. For the price I expected delicious, melt-in-your-mouth BBQ. Instead, I got dry, lukewarm food. The chicken couldn’t be any more dry. The BBQ trip tip wasn’t far off. Unlikely I’ll be back.

Baby back ribs and pulled chicken was like jerky so dry and tough. You could tell it's been reheated. You shouldn't have to saw through baby back ribs. The last three times I've been here it's been the same dry meat. Hey at least the garlic mash and biscuits were great.

We used to love Lucille's! And in fact, part of the reason why I took a new job was to move to socal to be closer. Sadly, over the years, the quality of the food has been in a continuous decline. We went yesterday and that's probably the last time we will go. None of the food was amazing. It was all very mediocre. The french fries, which used to be fantastic 10 years ago are now awful. The meats were just OK. I actually had a fried chicken sandwich which I think Chick-fil-A taste better. Considering the prices are very expensive here. It is definitely not worth it. And it hurts me to say this because I used to love it so much. But the quality is not at all what it used to be.

First time trying it what a disappointment ribs were tuff and dry not cook properly biscuits were good mac and cheese delicious mashed potatoes were bland and cold our server was excellent but disappointment in my first time going to that restaurant not going back again.Not worth the 80 dollars I spend

I would give no stars if possible ! Well very disappointing. Lately food comes out cold but we decided to give it one last try . Today was it! Got there at 545, table for 3, were told wait was 1 hour , we said ok and decided to wait . About 10 min later a table was ready, not sure why we were quoted an hour, we almost left so not sure why the girl with a resting bitch face would say that to begin with . Then we ordered a Diet Coke and a soda water from the tap but the waitress said they were out ? Which made no sense . So I got up went to the bar and got one . Not sure why she was saying that . Then the bread came out and it was hard as a rock we sent it back . Then the food came out about 40 min from when we ordered and it was dry and cold ! Horrible ! The girl at the front doesn't have a welcoming personality , and the waitress walked with a stick up her a$&@ probably got mad because we got our own soda water and sent back rock hard bread ! Anyway good luck don't go there !
