Very friendly. It was my first time ordering Chinese food so I bought an excessive amount of food but it’s okay because it was delicious and we’ll have it for lunch tomorrow! She was very friendly! Will definitely return!

Their lunch specials are great especially when you need something fast, affordable, and nearby. Their service is good, but they're not the friendliest people, but they're a mom and pop shop with their kids working so what do you expect. Anyways I'm not there for small talk or to make friends or anything. Most of their food is good I like everything there minus the salt and pepper fish filet nothing like the other Chinese restaurants. It's a to-go place so no dining in. Sometimes there's a line, but they're pretty fast. I like how it's walking distance from my house too

This is a decent restaurant for take out. There's no seating and the parking is a bit difficult, but their prices are very reasonable.Vegetarian options: It's mostly vegetable stir fry.

Food is great! And it's affordable! Good price for the amount of food they give you. Only reason why it's not 5 stars is the service. Sometimes they are closed unexpectedly. And sometimes they're not in the best mood for customer service. But I cut them slack. They're super busy and most days are low staffed. They're good people and make amazing food! The inside is too small to dine in, but that's okay because I only takeout from here, and so do others. Give it a try if you're new here! PRO TIP: call ahead! It's faster.

There's an old saying in the Chinese food community. If you walk in and there's kids behind the counter, the food is FIRE. That holds true with mandarin kitchen. The girls behind the counter are busy doing their KUMON homework while the guys in the back WOK it up. Fast and dependable flavors

Attempted to place a phone order today for delivery. The young woman who answered the phone must have been having an unpleasant day, because as I was relaying my order, she became quite short with me. I couldn't really understand exactly why at first, other than the kitchen staff was about to change shifts and I had to put my family's order in immediately. Upon asking to speak to a supervisor, in hopes of getting clarification, she lied and said she was the supervisor. Which later I found out she wasn't. Needless to say, I cancelled my order. Very disappointing encounter with restaurant staff.

This place had a weird old rancid oil smell and I could taste it in the food. The place was really dirty. The food is just disappointing.

Best little hole in the wall takeout Chinese. Always busy, but still quick if you call ahead to order. Great deal to feed the whole family, don't forget to ask what the special of the day is.

There aren't many places to get decent Chinese food in the Torrance area- at least fast-food wise. Service is as best as it can be given the pick-up and go vibe. Regardless, it is our go to spot to hit the fast-food Chinese food spot!

Food was OK.. I saw a post on nextdoor and people were raving about it. I haven't been there in about 3 years. The Shrimp in Lobster Sauce wasn't good so I decided to try again, ordered the Shrimp in Black Bean sauce it was OK but love the one at A1 BBQ much better and the aromatic shrimp at Golden

I love this place for Chinese Food!! Torrance, CA is so fortunate to have this location for over the last 26+ years. The same owner, which is family owned and operated. I appreciate Mandarin Kitchen because the prices are so affordable and the food is consistent, delicious and authentic. I thank this hard working family for being still opened throughout 26+ year's., it is greatly appreciated by the community. This Chinese restaurant is primarily setup for takeout. If you call ahead your order will be ready shortly upon arrival. There is always a crowd waiting but it is short and worth the wait. This food is ONO (delicious). Congratulations to this establishment for great food and excellent packaging to go orders! Best Chinese food in town, hands down not to mention the portions are more than adequate.Parking: Parking is in back of building off Torrance Blvd/ Crenshaw in Torrance,CA 90501.

More sophisticated Chinese but still very affordable. Just my style. No dine in. No power outlets. No bathroom.
