Asked a South Bay local what was their favorite local restaurant and this one came up. Immediately came for lunch. Friendly greetings and booth of choice. Chips and salsa were unremarkable. Flavorless chips and ok salsa. Not bad. Just incredibly mediocre, which was a recurring theme for the meal. I had Riviera Burrito with carne asada and guac/sour cream/cheese add-on. Protein lacked flavor. Partner had enchiladas. Same thing. Lackluster protein. Truly unremarkable. Nothing wrong just majorly mediocre. The place is not going out of its way to impress anyone. But you'll get utilitarian food at a utilitarian price. A solid meal. Zero flair.

Definitely coming back for the good carnitas burrito and their combo plates are very delicious. I will be back to try the fajitas and Chile Relleno!

Love this place! I wanted pozóle but they only serve it on the weekend. I had the Baja shrimp tacos instead. Heaven! Perfect combo of crunch and flavor! So yummy!

Love this place. Excellent service, and very good food. We've been there many times, and once we had an issue with a dish, and they immediately replaced it.

This is my husband's favorite Mexican place in LA. It's family owned and the food is great.

First experience...I ordered a Chorizo Breakfast Burrito w/ a number of add ons. Pretty dissatisfied with what I received. Was basically a big bland potato burrito. And some of the potatoes weren't even fully cooked. About a teaspoon of the "Namesake Chorizo" was buried at the bottom in a pocket of the tortilla. If there was egg in the burrito, it was undiscoverable to me. I don't like writing poor reviews, but my first experience of the Mexican Riviera restaurant, (not to be confused with the "Riviera Mexican Grill" nearby), was a big disappointment!

Pretty disappointing burrito, the website says the super burrito is $10 but I was charged $17 when I came to pick it up. The chicken fajita burrito had cold beans and was mainly rice with a small amount of chicken. This used to be a good spot for a great burrito regardless of the price but I don't think I'll be coming back again.
