This was my first visit and I will DEFINITELY return! It was also my first experience having a wet burrito( although I had an chimichanga) and it was soooo good! The chimichanga was enough for lunch and dinner, and the carnitas was delicious! Definitely recommend!!

I ordered to go - carne asada salsa verde wet burrito. It was so delicious. Great flavor and guacamole was perfect. You could tell the pico de gallo was fresh. Definitely a new weekly spot for me.

This is a family owned place that serves excellent food for modest prices.They battled their way through a fire that decimated the restaurant, years of trouble rebuilding through the pandemic and the loss of loved ones to Covid.Went over for their re-opening today.I am happy to report the service and food are even better than before.I especially like the carnitas here. It's a little bit crispy, not soft stewed like so many other places. The tomatillo sauce and salsa are homemade, full of body and flavor.Welcome Back to the neighborhood, Mezontle!

I had the carnitas plate. It was passable. What made it good was the flavor. The guacamole on the side left a lot to be desired as it had no seasoning. It was fresh though. The salsa, like the guacamole was too tame. It had no heat and just tasted like fresh tomatoes. The standout was their amazing homemade Chipotle ranch. It had a great kick to it and it made my salad irresistible. They also had a house hot sauce that was very fiery and good to eat. They serve alcohol too so definitely a spot to grab some good food and unwind.
