My boyfriend and I get food here all the time since it’s his favorite place. The other day, we both got our usual. Immediately after eating mine I got a stomach ache and then later on got diarrhea. Seems like the quality of food is going down.

This place is horrible. I had a job interview and apparently the manager left before our interview meeting,I texted and got no response. So I waited 20 minutes before he made a shift lead come out to do the interview. They told me how they needed people at that location. Afterwards, 2 weeks later I received an email stating how they basically were declining me. Completely unprofessional with management. I do not recommend trying to work here.

Just not impressed. Got the blackened Mahi tacos with beans and chips. Tacos were plain. Blacken seasoning had nothing to it. Beans were a brown mush.

Ok, so we don't typically eat at Rubios in Torrance, but since We received a gift card, we spent it here. The clientele that this place may have someone who doesn't know the difference of what a REAL taco tastes like. Take someone here if they don't care for Mexican American sorta fast food restaurant. Catch my drift....We ordered shrimp taco, original battered fish taco, 2 steak and chicken. 5 tacos for $23-24 and that these days is steep! Plus they don't even give you much meat. Like what is their value here? Quality verses Quantity and they got 0/5. Very sad. We walked out of there still hungry and needless to say we won't be back here at all. Not the best but not entirely the worst, but I would not waste my money here. They only give you 4 medium sized shrimp and all I remembered eating was the tortilla so how is that healthy but rather cheap on ingredients. Rubios mustthink we're stupid. How can anyone let this happen knowing the reviews in here said the same thing. Waiting was quite ok, 15 mins so it's served supposedly "fresh" but the minced cubed chicken that you can buy at costco is found in this chicken taco, so dry that we needed more water. Ambiance isn't all that, typically regular chair table seating, some for 2 some for 4. The over priced no value nor quality was not their main concern. Rubio's managers should take a look and eat their own meals prepared by their staff and grade it. As not coming back attitude tells you we were underwhelmed.

This is the nastiest thing I ever tried in my life. I paid $40 for this & 3 tacos smh talk about a rep off. I don't recommend this over price place. You are better eating at chipotle for half the price.

The food took too long to make and when I went to ask the staff said they were still working on it. We waited for like 15 minutes. This Rubios is the worst!

Went to pick up a large order for my organization. The manager was extremely rude, condescending, and not helpful. The orders were going to several different people in my organization. I asked him to label the orders (which they were supposed to be anyway) because the tops were full of condensation from the heat coming off the food. I could not see what was in the containers and I did not want to open other people's. He told me it would take too much time to label the orders. I told him I would wait and he said that was ridiculous. After a stare down and politely showing him that there was a marker nearby, he reluctantly labeled the orders. My organization will never use Rubio's again and I'll be sure to let everyone who works here know about my experience so they won't patronize either.
This is my favorite Rubio's to come to on my lunch breaks. The manager, Eric has excellent customer service and always goes above and beyond to make sure the customers have everything they need. Everyone here is exceptionally kind and welcoming.

The food was decent. The manager obviously does not like his job. He says 'welcome' when you come in but is definitely not sincere. He half-assed wiped our table. He needs some training on how to be nicer and at least sound more sincere when he greets people and takes their order. We felt like we were a bother to him and definitely did not feel 'welcomed'. Also, our salad has some old slimy pieces of lettuce mixed in with the fresh stuff. Better quality control is needed.
