Santouka Ramen Torrance

We have mostly been ordering to-go and eating at home due to current indoor dining restrictions; however they do have a dine-in patio area available which typically isn't too crowded. While eating at home isn't the same, the food itself is pretty good. We typically order a large salt ramen with an egg on the side. Medium SaltGreat classic style tonkotsu ramen. This is one of the original tonkotsu ramen restaurants in CA before the whole tonkotsu ramen craze. The soup is a very rich pork bone broth with medium sized noodles. Toppings include: scallions, mini umeboshi (pickled plum), scallions, sesame seeds, menma (pickled bamboo shoot), naruto (pink fish cake), chashu, and cloud ear mushrooms.It used to be "cash only" but they now accept credit cards. Ever since Mitsuwa market relocated to the mall, I've been anxiously waiting Santouka to reopen. (COVID DAYS) now they are open with outdoor sitting. YAY!!!! I was able to enjoy my Spicy Miso Ramen. I love their display.
