I can only speak for the salmon ikura bowl. It's more of a side dish but what was disappointing was the salmon they gave is really dry and lacked flavor.

We have mostly been ordering to-go and eating at home due to current indoor dining restrictions; however they do have a dine-in patio area available which typically isn't too crowded. While eating at home isn't the same, the food itself is pretty good. We typically order a large salt ramen with an egg on the side. The items come nicely packaged; broth separate from the noodles and egg and the broth is still fairly hot by the time we get home. It's nice when the egg comes in a separate container so none of the residual juices get absorbed by the noodles. One plus is they now accept credit cards and Apple Pay. So much nicer than having to remember to grab some cash before going. Definitely will continue to order from them when we have a ramen craving regardless of whether we dine in or take home.

Medium SaltGreat classic style tonkotsu ramen. This is one of the original tonkotsu ramen restaurants in CA before the whole tonkotsu ramen craze. The soup is a very rich pork bone broth with medium sized noodles. Toppings include: scallions, mini umeboshi (pickled plum), scallions, sesame seeds, menma (pickled bamboo shoot), naruto (pink fish cake), chashu, and cloud ear mushrooms. It used to be "cash only" but they now accept credit cards. They also have begun to serve takeout. My only disappointment with their takeout is they don't offer raw noodles, only cooked noodles. Cooked noodles need to be consumed instantly or they will get soggy. I don't understand why they can't offer this. Also from a business perspective it would take much less work and time for the staff to package raw noodles instead of having to cook then package.

Ever since Mitsuwa market relocated to the mall, I've been anxiously waiting Santouka to reopen. (COVID DAYS) now they are open with outdoor sitting. YAY!!!! I was able to enjoy my Spicy Miso Ramen. I love their display.

I'm not sure if I came by on a bad day but the spicy miso was horrible. It had sour flavor and I kept explaining to my friends it didn't taste good. I ended up not eating this and threw it away fully. I didn't like anything about it. I got home started to feel sick, I ended up getting food poisoning and have been using the bathroom since. I really didn't want to ask for a refund so I didn't because I understand during hard times. But for 14 bucks plus tip....I feel I wasted my money and got sick. Unfortunately my stomach is still having pain and I won't eat here again. I only ate the rice and egg.

Fast and easy place to pick up food. Both were delicious and noodles were just right :) I would stray away from getting the small size though, as they do come in 3 different sizes. Go medium, that is your average ramen bowl.

Ramen Santouka is located inside Mitsuwa at the Del Amo Mall. Pictured here is Miso Ramen with a grilled salmon and salmon roe rice bowl. The broth was super tasty and the soy egg was flavorful! I enjoyed the texture of the pork in the ramen. The salmon bowl was nicely seasoned and my favorite was the salmon roe. There are various combos and bowl sizes to choose from. I'm not a HUGE fan of ramen and often have a difficult time finishing my bowl but after learning of their various bowl sizes, I was very content with my small bowl. They're offering take out and dine outside at this time. Outdoor seating is pretty limited due to social distancing so I only recommend dining outside if you're able to socially distance. I will definitly be back to try their tonkotsu shio ramen :)

I was in the area, and craving for some Miso Ramen. The broth was outstanding for flavor. The ingredients/Toppings are on the simple side, but anything else would take away from the delicate flavor. And... yes... it's in a food court. Get over yourself.

This is a small Ramen shop inside a Japanese super market store in del amo mall. They offer variety of Ramen from shio (salt), spicy miso and soy sauce base soup. Their ramen is delicious and it hits the spot on a nice cold day. They also offer outdoor seating and the japanese store offered sanitizing wipes in the front. Great place to eat for ramen outdoors!

This was my first time trying this place and it has become one of my favorite ramen places so far! It is located inside the Mistuwa store where the food court is. They have outdoor seating outside the food court and there are plenty of tables and seats.I ordered the Shio Ramen and it did not disappoint! The wait was rather long, but when I got it, it was definitely worth the wait! The broth is light but super rich in flavor and the noodles are cooked al dente. Perfect texture and so delicious with the broth absorbed into the noodles! You are given a good amount of toppings so you don't need to add much more. The chashu was tender and the egg was soft and delicious! I couldn't have asked for a more perfect bowl of ramen. I highly recommend trying this place!

9/7/2020 Good miso broth base. It's not overly salty. But super long wait on Labor Day lunch. But definitely worth a try! Lost 1 star cuz of the wait. But food is solid.

This is my absolute favorite ramen place. Before Covid-19 this restaurant only did dine in and wasn't available for togos. Now they adapted and does do take out orders. I only get 1 item and that is the toroniku ramen with spicy miso. Omg there is so much depth in this broth and goes perfect with their noodles. The meat is pork cheek and it so flavorful and tender. Even eating in in my car in the togo containers was a great experience and I killed it real quick bc I haven't had it in so long. Also just to let you know they moved to the new location at del amo mall

So, I'm a little bummed they moved further away, but that wasn't really going to deter me from having my favoritest ramen bowl in the world. I also wanted to check out Mitsuwa's new location and see what that's like, and that's the reason I found myself here. Now, I've raved about the miso toroniku - it is the best I've ever had. Needless to say, I had it again on this run. The reason for the less than perfect scoring this time?! The broth was on the salty side. I mean, I'm all about salty food, but this time around was just a little over my preference. Not sure what happened. Maybe it's the move? Eh... I'm hoping it was a one day glitch. Will still return and have it again.

Solid choice for ramen at a food court. Due to COVID, they now only allow outdoor seating and takeouts. I went with their combo D (miso ramen + bowl of char siu pork) and it was exactly what I needed after a long day. They packed everything with care. Bowl of noodle + toppings on top and separate broth bowl at the bottom, which made it very easy to warm up and prep at home. What I like the most is the noodle texture remained intact at home as you would experience when dining in. Overall a wonderful ramen joint if you are in a hurry for some take-out ramen in the South Bay area. They accept credit card payments and are part of the AMEX small business program so get your credit back while supporting them during this very difficult time.
