“I ordered the 2 piece combo you get 1 side and choice of role or some type of sweet bread with powdered sugar. I opted for the roll and spicy rice. It was truly delicious, hot and reasonably priced. The rice was cooked to perfection and spicy good with chicken in it. The only thing is a lady in a wheelchair was in there begging for money. These establishments need to run them out.“

“Went there today just before closing. Purchased oxtails with candied yams & rice and gravy. Excellent tasting, the gravy was delicious oxtails were falling off the bones and the candied yams were very good also. Did not really like the corn bread dressing. The hostess, Star was very friendly and welcoming. I'm from the Chi and recommend it highly. Price was right also.Looking for good food check Matthews at 2222 W. Rosecran out. They also have delivery. Thanks Star, MickeyParking: Many“
“This was a word of mouth tryout. It exceeded my expectations. The outside looks regular, so I asked a couple of people I saw leaving with food their opinion they too gave it the thumbs up and recommended the lemon pepper chicken. It was yum but they have a few flavors that aren’t the norm green chili lime, delish, lemon pepper drizzled with chili, definitely a return visit, garlic parmesan fries were nice. And my fav was the watermelon slushy. Yum.I will be back. Gonna try the cranberry coleslaw next time.“
“This is a small place next to a small parking lot. So I was there on a rainy late Saturday afternoon and got right up to the order window. I had the fish and shrimp combo with cabbage and red beans & rice. The fish was fairly thickly and crunchy-battered cooked just right. The shrimp were quite large for a combo plate... this place isn't cheap, but they have it all down to a Cajun science. Food: 5* (Delicious to an item) Service: 5* (Delivered to my car) Looks like I'll be returning here!“
“This place is very nice but here there are smells that make it bad like the security should not allow people who smoke because it is for children I think that that is what the bathroom is for rather than that only if you enjoy those smells and alone and rather . Madness wastes it as if it were“
“Was my first time I have been hearing it on the radio KJLH I passed by it . It was really good because I usually go to LA to get my barbecue all I got was delicious ? rib tips, greens, barbecue baked beans, bread ? off the hook. I have too go back too try the Rest.“
“So, I decided to give this spot another try since the food was good first time. This time I opted to call at 530pm.... Google says open until 9pm. She said "We are closed! "Wtf it's 530! She said ok, I will take your order ...I said well I am driving 40 min away...she said okay! How sweet.., I asked for 1 oxtail dinner and 1smothered steak. Asked for yams and greens and mac and cheese. I got 3 sides Mac and greens only. Still grateful to, because I told her I only had some of the cash and she said it's ok and kindly sent me home! Main issue I have is ....I didn't get ANY gravy at all I had a comfort food craving and that entails lots of smothered gravy. I had to come home and make some gravy. I believe they have new owners because the name changed to Sol of Los Angeles. There is a buffet in Gardena...it's written on the wall!****Owners ****please update the hours on line ,I drove really far and they were closing hours earlier. I included a screenshot of the information given. I just tried the smothered steak I used to love and this one today is dry, unflavored and hard with no gravy. Oxtails we're very small and minimal, no gravy and overpriced for the value. Both these items total close to $40....“
“A passerby saw us looking at the menu and said this place was IT. We went in and had the best fried chicken I've had in years--I could have ordered just the crispy, crackly skin and been happy. Plus, the candied yams were amazing! We're coming back to this place.“
“OMG I discovered this place on IG. I’m all about supporting all the Balck owned Inglewood eateries . And this did not disappoint. Pricey and an up charge for dining in but every bite of everything was so freaking good. Treat yourself, you will be so glad you did.“
“Drove all the way up from Pasadena. So glad we did. We had an amazing experience. The food was soooo good, the service was super fast, and parking was free! It’s a little pricey but they give HUGE portions so u can honestly take it to go and eat for the next 3 days lol. Everyone here is so unbelievably nice, specially the manager Darius. Will be coming again!“
“I love the platanos and platano de empanadas, is my go to! Pupusas are great. Curtido is great, made the traditional way! I recommend you call in to place your order. Is not that they are slow is just the food is great they get tons of orders. I love that its clean inside too. Yeah its located in not the best street but never been a problem for me. I recommend this place!“

“We are always in this area and saw when they 1st started construction and finally made our way over. The place looks absolutely amazing. There are nice TVs everywhere, there's a nice big open concept, they have the axe throwing section, and there is an outdoor area with a bunch of giant games and seating. Everyone in our party really enjoyed their but the Hand Grenades (fried jalapeno poppers stuffed with brisket) could use some more flavor. The drinks were also ok, nothing to really rave about. They have a really big menu with lots of great options to choose from. I'm going to continue to visit so I can keep trying new things on the menu. The only thing that disappointed me was the axe throwing portion. It was really cool that you can change the appearance of the targets but the horrible part was how beat up the axes were. I've been to a couple of axe throwing facilities and never seen the axes so chipped, beat up, and completely dull. This definitely played a role in how well the axe stuck in the wood. I've never had issues in the past and I would only get 3 out of every 10 throws to stick. They tried to tell me I wasn't taking a big enough step before I threw but I don't think that should determine if the axe sticks or not but I'm no expert. The other axe facilities also have a more attentive instructor that continues to give input and even comes up with games and tournaments for your group, not so much here. It's more of a free for all throw, which isn't too bad, it just depends on what you're looking for. The bartender/waitress named Marie was amazing. Very friendly, approachable and was pretty much running the show all by herself. They would have not been functioning if it wasn't for her hard work.“
“The brisket was a little rubbery, I like it to melt in my mouth. The baby back ribs were a little tuff. I like them to come off the bone easier. The best side was potato salad. I loved the biscuit and apple butter. The desert was amazing strawberry ? banana pudding.“
