Good place to have breakfast with ample seating. My party of 6 ordered and food was out in around 15 minutes. The servers do an excellent job coming around refilling coffees and drinks, which is super nice. My Popeye omelette was delicious; it was generously loaded with spinach, mushrooms, and onions. I didn't particularly love the way the cheese was slathered on top of the omelette (wish it was inside), but it was still delicious. The hash browns were scrumptious as well.

I ordered a TUNA SALAD. PROS: Thank you for slicing the boiled egg. Thank you for dicing the tomatoes. (saves me time) The amount of Thousand Island dressing was good... I didn't have to ask for more. CON: Barely any tuna. (my normal spot is currently remodeling... And they have 2X the amount of tuna for $7 cheaper)

The location could use a major update. But the service was great and the food was pretty good.

It's Spires. You pretty much already know what you're getting, when going here. However, what sets this Spires out from all other Spires, and similar restaurants, is Breana <sp?>. A staffmember extradinaire. She has a professional air about her, and is eally quite smart. And, because of Breana, my family and I will be certain to make return visits.

Definitely a place where the same people have been coming for decades. My grandparents who are in their 90s now have been coming here for decades. I'm almost middle-aged and I was the second youngest person there eating and the only younger person was my son. I'm not going to say this in a denigrating way, if you're over the age of 60 and retired, this is definitely a place that might draw you in. But, for millennials such as myself, there's no draw for me. I got myself a club sandwich and enjoyed the company of my grandparents. The place was reminiscent of a Denny's or trucker diner that you would find in the Midwest. The food was good, I don't know what the price was because my grandparents were actually treating me out but I'm assuming it's not very costly. The portion sizes were definitely adequate. My son got a chicken sandwich and it seemed to be pretty good for what he got. My grandparents split a club sandwich as well so I can at least say that the club sandwiches are good. Overall, the place is quaint, a bit dated, but it gets the basics done.Parking: The parking lot is a bit wonky, but there's at least plenty of parking.Kid-friendliness: They do provide a kids menu and the food seems rather rudimentary enough that a kid won't complain.Wheelchair accessibility: I did see plenty of people in the building who required ADA accommodations. There were a lot of senior citizens in the building so it is very accessible for those of whom that need assistance and accommodations.

The food is great. The atmosphere is retro but very comforting. The issue: on Sunday morning, I saw a short Latina server with corn-rolled pony-tailed braided hair from front to back wearing a short blue shirt and black apron eat a piece of someone’s food as she took it off the kitchen bar and walked and served it to the customer. Major turn-off.Is this a part of their protocol?
