Cozy traditional restaurant. Arrived on a Saturday around 7pm and there was no wait. There's plenty of free self parking. Was greeted by the friendly staff and quickly seated. They offer lots of cut sushi options as well as a few cut rolls. The fish was very fresh and tasty. The rice used was of excellent quality and prepared very well.Felt it was a bit on the pricey side considering it's not in a fancy location or fancy ambience.

Wish I would have gotten to try. Was told at about 8:05 PM to come over before 8:30 pm for a reservation... only to be kicked out the second I got there... at 8:19 PM. Visiting town only and changed my plans to opt to go there to support local business instead of heading closer to LA. Mistake, unfortunately.

Dinner reservations required. Not sure why. The place was 1/3 or less full. When we arrived we were the only ones. Oh well, whateverThe sushi is spectacular. Wow! Sure , it's expensive , but the quality here is amazingI was referred here from some of my Japanese national friends. They did not steer me wrong. Best sushi in the South Bay. The service is prompt, polite , amazing. This is now my go to place

Quaint, traditional, and inviting atmosphere. Excellent service and friendly staff. I was having work done on my car nearby and was looking for somewhere to dine. There was a sign stating “reservations only” at the front door, however, they weren’t too busy at the time I arrived and they happily seated me. Since I was dining on my own, I chose to sit at the sushi bar. The sushi was fresh & delicious. The sushi prepared in the photo was the following: Blue Fin Tuna, Amberjack, Halibut, Japanese Mackerel, and Alfonsino. I highly recommend the Alfonsino. I will be back here for Omakase with my +1!

So we arrive at like 7 and its empty, (idk why everyone is waiting an hour!) the chef checked us in and we got seated. After some arguing with my sister we got the food. The sushi was too good. And everything too. Our waiter and chef was amazing. The chef even gave us candy! The inside was beautiful they had lots of painting and art. Would love to to there again.

Hate to write a bad review... Found the chef's hair in my sushi and was a bit grossed out. Surprised the chef didn't notice his hair as he was preparing; pretty obvious. Rest of the meal felt like an episode of fear factor. Chef needs to wear a hair net...

I hate to complain and give low rating but people should know how discriminating, pompous, and unapologetic this Ken chef is - I found hair in my Hamachi sushi and instead of apologizing he looked at me and asked if it was my hair!!!!! The hair in sushi was black and I am blonde!!! He doesn't like Koreans, act very condescending towards you if you aren't his regular customer. This place should close down!

My wife and I eat here like once a week. Omakase is good value. My wife says they have the best spicy tuna cut rolls. When we need our weekly sushi fix, we usually end up going here for lunch. Prices here are very reasonable.

My girlfriend and I had an amazing dinner here. We didn't have a reservation (make sure to call ahead for one!) but we were lucky enough to be the last group to be seated for the night. It's a very small restaurant. The staff are incredibly kind and the sushi is -so- good. Like others mentioned, it's simple, delicious, and authentic. Highly recommend this place.

Was surprised by this place as it's nothing special to walk into. My kids and I wanted Sushi on a Friday night and most places were booked. Called this place and they had a table to we dashed over. The food was good but the bill was a real shocker. $350 with tip for three people was a real shock. Like I said the food was good, but not 350 worth of good.

Came here for my birthday. Very quaint, clean, and delicate food. Great customer service too. Two things to note:1. One of the fish head dishes was so thin there was virtually no meat in it. I wish the waitress gave me a heads or cancelled before serving (you can see it in my pictures). 2. PSA for those interested in trying this place: it's reserve only!
