TL;DR Solid (hand and cut) rolls, sashimi and overall experience, no complaints Story: Been here for the second time after about ~6 months. Both times with family, both times seated pretty promptly. Ambiance: Parking hasn't been a problem both times, but the lot only takes ~10 or less cars. Service was adequate as more folks filtered in (cater your expectations to a restaurant with a few waiters) Generally clean (restroom was fine), and I didn't feel uncomfortable with any of the decor/music/lack of anything Food: Definitely solid roll choices, they have other things like teriyaki but can only comment on the fish/rolls Soy paper and rice less options are appreciated I'm all for handrolls and these hand rolls are definitely hefty (Lobster hand roll/Vicky hand rolls were very solid) Rolls were good and fish was relatively fresh (no complaints) Value: Decent value considering the quality of the fish and that it's a sushi roll place, would definitely give this place a chance if you're in the mood for a solid roll (but shout out to those large hand rolls).

Craving for sushi and bumped into this sushi place in Torrance. It's right on a kitty corner with street and ample parking beside the resto. PROS: - the Toro sashimi was delish. Didn't expect to get 10 slices per order so was very happy about it. The toro was fresh and it just melts in your mouth. For $38, it was a great deal and I think it can feed 2 if you pair it with some rolls. - the salmon skin salad was a huge portion and what caught me by surprise is they slightly coated the salmon skin with I think tempura batter and it added a nice crunch to it. It felt like a salmon skin chicharones. I thought it paired well with the salad - the unagi sashimi was yummy and u get 6 good pieces of it. - the hamachi Kama came in a bit larger portion than what I am used to getting from most sushi places. It was baked well but I would have loved it to be seasoned with salt just a little bit more. I asked for some namami togarashi and sprinkled some on the kama and it definitely hit the spot CONS: - for whatever reason, there was only 1 server so taking my order came a bit slow and if I didn't flag him down, I would've waited a long time to take my order But overall, I was pleased with it and will definitely come back when I'm in Torrance.

Beyond annoyed I called in an order and specifically asked for eel sauce and spicy mayo and she gave me samples!! Then has the nerve to tell me I can come back really I don't have time to go back and fourth that's why I was specific with my order!!

Teriyaki chicken plate is fire. I don't eat fish, but my girl does and she enjoyed it . super big portion for the price. Had a great experience.

Service was very attentive, the gyoza were perfectly crispy, and the Tuna nigiri melted in my mouth.
Don't have much to say except read the other reviews! Think we just found our new go-to sushi restaurant!

Just ate here today with a co-worker and, it is a very nice and quiet place to eat. The workers are very nice and quick . Great prices for the sushi and Ramen. Definitely recommend heading down for that Japanese atmosphere :)
