I really think it was unfortunate that they got slammed with a lot of people all at once and they seemed short staffed.
The food was decent.
I would try again but I won't be through Truckee for awhile.

My husband and I live to come here for happy hour and their taco platter! The food is delicious and the staff is amazing and makes you feel like family. We will definitely continue to visit each time we are in Truckee.

This is a true "good bad" mexican place. Food is nothing special but hits the spot, service is bananas. Do NOT order the vegan tacos like my cousin though, it's just steamed broccoli and unseasoned pinto beans. We got moved, skipped over, wrong orders brought to us, but the staff were friendly enough.
