Been wanting to try this place for a while now. So my wife, daughter, and myself finally had a chance to go. I have to say, I was completely let down in almost every way. My wife and daughter got filet. Which was pretty good, but my daughters was over cooked. I got a New York. It came out looking like a sizzler steak. About a 1/2 inch thick and full of fat. My wife also ordered a Moscow Mule. It came out made with ginger ale and in a regular glass. The potato wedges were good. And the dessert was great. But, All in all. Very, very underwhelming for the price.

Alpha Mike Alpha Zulu India November Golf ?If your mouth isn’t watering it will be.Location:Down town across from Commonwealth TurlockAmbiance:The ambiance is superb. From the decor, lighting and color scheme the restaurant clearly has an intentional vibe. An elevated experience, very clean. The seating can host anywhere from large parties to an intimate date for two. The bar is also a solid seat as well.Menu Design:Easy to read and navigate. Menu recently updated. Aesthetically pleasing.Beverages:Devine. I don’t say this subtly. The drinks exceeded expectations. They have an awesome selection and experienced bartender (Mixologist, Brandon) who guides you through the journey of the drink in itself. I find a fond appreciation in the clarity of their ice. Flawlessly clear. A business that is willing as to be so detail oriented speaks volumes as to precision and quality.Bites:I could go on and on, but we’ll settle for a review of a few items. Now I warn you once you have this burger, most anything else will not taste as superior. Try the Jalepeno Popper Burger (recommended by Emily, hostess) the brioche bun is soft and buttery, the kind where it just feels so right in your hands, that little bit of squish as you squeeze down. The burger is delectable. Every ingredient made to not overwhelm the senses, but yet create a symphony in your mouth. A Jalapeño popper concert in my mouth more specifically. It was paired nicely with rosemary fries. The fries were thin and fresh, not to crispy, not to soft. The bananas foster bread pudding was recommended for dessert (Lauren, server). It did not disappoint. Warm vanilla ice cream with Ooey gooey goodness of bread pudding. The warm and cold, the way it melts in your mouth with every bite. It’s a big serving size but a great size if your wanting to share something sweet at the end of your meal with your date. The people:Polite and friendly staff, awesome recommendations. Quick to serve. Overall, a lasting impression made. The people are as top tier as the menu and ambiance itself. If you are in Turlock. Stop here and experience this Jem, because it truly is one of a kind.Up to date menu in pictures*Parking: Downtown Turlock can have limited parking on Friday evenings. So leave yourself a little grace when it comes to parking.

Has room for improvement. Not too happy with new menu. Still 4 star because the food is always good. Bar drinks always mixed proper. Staff works hard to bring together a nice dinner.

Service was ok. The main issue was things like a baked potato that was so cold it couldn't melt the sour cream on it. Not sure if I will return.

We had a wonderful evening at CUTS. We have family in town from Florida who heard of CUTS and we had to try it. Amazing experience. From the craft cocktails, the food and the service you cannot go wrong. Sebastian was our waiter. He answered all of our questions on the menu, as well as cocktails and was extremely detailed oriented. There were small details that put the experience over the top that are not always there in all locations. Sebastian was amazing and by far the best waiter we have had! We highly recommend the dry aged ribeye, and the Rai Tai as well as the Mai Tai. Excellent service and food. Highly recommend.

Had the best Aged prime rib. With some compound butter, yummy ? Our server Sebastián was the best. Very knowledgeable.
Great steakhouse with excellent food and drinks and a quiet atmosphere. My husband and I ordered the charcuterie board as an appetizer and shared a (perfectly cooked) tomahawk with bone marrow butter, baked potato, and roasted brussel sprouts for our main course. It was far more than enough food for us both, and we ended up taking half home. Prices are on the high end but not outside of our expectations for a nice steakhouse, and I would say the quality of food warrants the price. The staff easily accommodates gluten-free diners as well. They were able to customize our appetizers and entrees and were very knowledgeable about dietary restrictions. Our server came back on a couple of occasions to confirm everything was prepared correctly.

My wife and I spent a lovely December evening dining here at a premiere steakhouse in the Centeral Valley.Cuts was and is a Cut above the rest. We enjoyed A5 Waygu steak. Just an absolutely magnificent steak. Paired with the crispy brussels sprouts, garlic mash potatoes, we have truffle fries and rosemary fries as well. We had a small plate of bread with an olive oil as well as butter mixed with balsamic glaze. The atmosphere, the music, the food and service were all excellent. Everything down to the small details were not ignored. This place stands truly as the best Turlock has to offer. A veteran owned business to further add to its claim to fame.
Food. Service. Ambiance. Cuts has it all. Want to have a quiet date night or share a charcuterie board with friends? This is such a great place. I love the ambiance and decor and the attention to detail from the furniture to the finishes. It is pricey but worth the experience.

When it comes to steak they for sure know what they're doing. Hard to beat. Service on the other hand can be hit and miss at times especially on busy nights. The service on our last visit was abysmal for example. They were obviously sort staffed so it is what it is.
