This place might actually be the most overrated place I've ever been to. This place is purely for women to take pictures to post on instagram to say they went to La Mo. That is literally it. The food is decent at best. I got the chicken and waffles. Yes, plural, waffles. There was 1 waffle. It tasted ok at best. The coffee tasted worse than anything I could get at Starbucks. The ambiance is nice and quiet and that's about the only thing it's got going for it. The service sucks. Waitresses are all snobs and rude. If you live your life through social media then this is the place for you, if you just want good breakfast and good coffee then I do not recommend.

I always like the chilaquiles they're super good but yesterday I decided to try the asada torta and I couldn't even cut the meat with a real knife that I asked for because of all the tendon it had it was disgusting I could t eat it but thankfully I was able to change it at no charge. Then I asked for a side of fried jalapeño and although the waitress said there was an extra charge I did not expect to pay $7 for 1 tasteless jalapeño. The environment is nice and cozy but sometimes you get little surprises like those.

Very basic coffee and pastries. Might be great at some point but was a disappointment when I visited.

The coffee shop is now for dusty drop-outs who can't even smile. I'd recommend just going to the thrift shop a half block away. Lamo is just sad AF these days. $11.85 lattes aren't worth it.

First time here!We wanted coffee and breakfast. This shop is too cute I love it and my favorite is the garden bagel! I got the jalapeno cheddar bagel, My husband got the everything bagel breakfast bagel. My only concern is that it didn't taste like a jalapeno cheddar, it was just sprinkled in the middle of the bagel. Regardless of this point, it is very delicious. The workers in the back are appreciated in my eyes but low key they didn't look inviting haha but our cashier was hecka adorable super sweet. Definitely will come back again.Keep up the good work and smile!

The service was amazing but the food wasn't the greatest. My friend and I ordered chilaquiles and it was literally just tortilla chips with a little bit of salsa poured on top. Not good. Very disappointed in that especially since it's one of the expensive breakfast dishes on the menu. Definitely not authentic at all. My friend had eaten the chilaquiles here before and said they weren't like this when she had them. I'm guessing they made a change.

Personally I didn't like the menu , my wife and my sister in law ordered food and both agreed it was good, I ordered El chapo coffee and let me tell you that it was excellent ( highly recommendable) and they have more options for coffee have to go back and try

My boyfriend took me to La Mo (Feb 14th) because it was my birthday. I usually enjoy eating here so I'm a bit disappointed that I have to write this review. Firstly, It took really long to get our coffee. We ordered a couple starters and both ordered the chilaquiles. It took an hour to get our food . The people they sat next to us got their food before we did and by the time we got our food it was cold. Our server walked past us many times and didn't think to check on our food or us. I really enjoyed eating here the previous couple times but I'm sad I had this experience on my birthday. We spent a lot of money and weren't really treated well.

This place is so cute! I have had dinner at the restaurant part, but this was my first time coming to the cafe. I would love to come and sit and do homework sometime, very chill vibes. I had the Turkish latte (mint and cardamom) it was delicious. I love cardamom. I also had the quiche which was tasty, as well. The service was decent. I think the girl who helped me was named Mia. SHE was especially sweet.

Food is good don't get me wrong, but it takes the place foooorrreeevvveerr to seat u then u have to wait foooorrreeevvveerr for a server to take your order, then even longer for you to get your food. I've been here 3+ times thinking maybe I just went on a busy day. Nope. They just have very slow service and even slower cooks. Seems like they only have 1 cook for 100+ people. The Food is good but the Price is ridiculously high for the amount of time you have to wait. Looking at at least $16 for one plate of food and about 1.5 hour wait...
