I really wanted to like this place. I mean I did but I couldn't get over what we had paid for. Some things were better than others and the portions were a bit skimpy. Unless their big plates just made the portions look small, but usually eating at Thai restaurants, we'd have leftovers. It's been a long time since I went out to eat. It is rare that I chose this well-reviewed restaurant when I went out today. Now let's take a look. First of all, the service: they have dine-in, and there are already three tables of guests in it. It was 11am and we were hungry. King of Thai was open so we walked over. The dining room, of course, is closed so we took a seat outside. Two major problems come with sitting outside in Vacaville. The first is that it gets darned HOT! Especially when the sun is directly overhead. It could be that I'm more sensitive than most but some umbrellas would definitely be a good idea.
