This review is ONLY for the margaritas and guac and chips, as we did not have a full meal. But wow, those margaritas will knock you off your feet! Super tasty, and super strong. They're pricey but you get a lot of bang for your buck. The guac and chips were also very good. The seating is all outdoors in a casual, backyard feeling space. A couple of the tables have built in heat lamps which is nice on a chilly afternoon. Parking is available along Abbott Kinney street and is free.
De Buena Plata is such a cozy place to chill and relax! They serve Calidad beer and also make great cocktails. Love the fire pits and the interior, really keeps you warm in picturesque Venice Beach.
We passed by this clandestine alley riding bikes. Had to take a second look as the open entrance between two commercial buildings was intriguing. The outside areas and decor was simple, but pleasing. We stumbled in on a trivia game presented by a very congenial host. He was engaging and entertaining. We were fortunate to taste a delicious, Spicy Cucumber Margarita on National Margarita Weekend.
