Love It, Breakfast burritos double bacon! So good you'll be back!
I used to live across the street so I used to come here ALL of the time. Sad to not live close anymore :( it's quick and it's good. The steak tacos, the guacamole, and their smothered burrito is all really good. Great service. Oh, and their horchata is amazing. Perfect hang over cure ;)
I called in an order of breakfast since I live so close- but what I received was an incorrect order, rude service from the man operating the windows, and they forgot to give me my horchata I ordered. I had to walk back to go and retrieve it since they didn't give it to me. Really bumsMe out since they're so close to my home- but the food is always oily, not tasty, and the service sucked. Guess I'll be hitting up the other nice Mexican restaurants in my neighborhood.
Pretty good actually! Heard from friends to give it a try and I agree... worth a visit if you're in that area!Covid ordering and Take out from Curbside. There was nice Char on the meat in the Ojai Burrito and the Salsa was the PERFECT Tippy toe up to heat w/out going CraCra and needing a glass of milk.Have eaten MANY Mexican food places and recommend, others "not so much". This one is worthy of a visit.
Stopped by Johnny's place early in the morning to grab a bite to eat on our way to a business meeting. My spouseand I ordered 2 breakfast burritos.. From our past experience we thought the prices Johnny's place had were reasonable and expected a mild sized burrito......... But then! We were surprised by this humongous burritos the size of my forearm... They were monstrous... The only bad part is that they were so delicious but we could not finish them....
It used to be the best! Not anymore. 2 burritos and one soda cost $20. It was really gross. I threw it away. Go to Maggies!
$10 for a slender Johnny’s original burrito (shredded beef in chile colorado red sauce with cheese) made me gasp a bit as they were perhaps half that price the last time I ate here 25 yrs ago. The flavors are pretty good, but frankly I grew bored with the flavor and texture after 3 or four bites, even with the addition of their decent salsa. I think beans and rice would round out the extreme meatiness of the soft, shredded beef. Next time I’ll try the crunchy tacos that other reviewers recommend. After I got my food I noticed the line was maybe ten deep at around 12:00.
Bomb as usually eat here when im on the westside of town!!
Best breakfast burritos in Ventura! Love to grab one while on the way to the dog beach.
