Just tried Russel's for the first time. Wow!The buttermilk and apple fritter were the best I've ever had.Fritter was perfectly crisp on the outside yet moist and full of apple and cinnamon flavors on the inside. The buttermilk was exactly what you'd want it to be.Combine that with great customer service and you gotta try this place out!

I have been coming to this donut shop for years. It is a local spot on the Avenue that everyone has been to. They open up very early and are even open at night. They always make everything fresh there and most times you do need to come early to get your picks because they run out quick. My favorite thing here is their bagels, they are so good and have lots of options. I was just here today and noticed they updated to digital screen menus which is a great addition because they organized everything with prices! They also make great smoothies with so many flavors to pick from. They are always very friendly and it is a cute little shop.

I come here almost every morning when I'm in town visiting family. I love how they are open early and have great, affordable options--and the donuts are huge! The people working the counter are so friendly and the atmosphere is that of a true neighborhood joint, not the overdone expensive shops I'm used to at home. Moved to this area 7 months ago and this is the best donut place!! Donuts, croissants and iced coffee are my go to. Love stopping by to this place with my baby all the time. Plus people behind the counter are very nice and friendly

Genuinely sweet people that work and own this! Favorite donut shop in Ventura. The coffee is strong and I love how they let you customize it how you want. The young girl who helped me went out of the way to look for a jelly donut for me even though they were about to close. I paid $7 for 3 donuts and a small coffee. My only regret is not coming here sooner
