Guadalajara Grill Taco Shop / Caldwell

This place is better than most of the Mexican places I've tried in the area. Friendly service, place is clean, things were priced fairly, the food came quick and, more importantly, tasted good. The breakfast burrito is legit. We don't have a spot we like to get something before heading out on trips but I think we found it.

Best burritos in town.

This place has become our emergency dinner place. Sometimes, we are too busy to cook dinner, so we call in an order of a 32oz of carne asada with salsa verde and toppings on the side along with grilled onions. The meat itself is around $18, and if you like the salasa verde as much as us, we get a 16oz of it, and so the end price is around $ 25-27. They do not disappoint. The aguas frescas are delicious. Tortas and tacos are very good. Customer service is, for the most part, very friendly. One employee is not so happy to be there....

The one located on Akers (inside the gas station) make the best breakfast burritos hands down. I’d share a picture, but I didn’t have the patience to take one.

My family loves this spot on Prosperity. Cassandra and the other girls are always so sweet. Love their customer service. The grilled asada fries or asada nachos are my favorite. My husband loves their birria noodles.

Great food, and they accommodated my need for gluten free food because of celiac disease. This is a legit good taqueria. My husband and I split the carne asada plate, and it was enough food for two people who are both on semaglutide lol.

Came here for the first time for lunch cuz I was craving Mexican food! The photos popped up on Yelp and the food looked delicious so we decided to try it out! The buche and tripa had us sold. Lol

When we got to the address we were surprised this place was inside a AM/PM. I didn’t mind at all cuz it had its own little area. Staff was friendly.

We ordered their Bistec Ranchero Burrito for me cuz a sign was on the front register. Caught my eye. My mans ordered our daughter a shrimp taco and he ordered 2 buche and 1 tripa which we would’ve ordered 2 tripa and 1 buche except they charge extra for their tripa (sorry didn’t catch the exact amount); it also doesn’t state that in their menu. We also ordered a large horchata.

Food came out within 10-15 minutes (see photos below).
The burrito was okay; tasted like something from Chipotle. The tripa was BOMB; buche was okay. Loved their tripa! It was super crunchy; reminded me of crispy bacon. Their Horchata I would give 3 stars. Sorry, but had too much of something (perhaps cinnamon?) idk the horchata from AM/PM which we later purchased for $.89 cuz we weren’t about to pay another $4.50 tasted better to me (idk maybe it’s all the high fructose syrup) lol. Had better horchata elsewhere is where I’m getting at. Haha.

Anyways, would rate this place a 4. Loss points for their small portions..other than that, come check them out!

Ordered the grilled chicken wet burrito. The meat was well seasoned, and I love the generous amounts of cilantro and onion they put on the plate. The green sauce was great, and they were more than happy to give me some spicy salsa on the side. Overall, good food all around.

They accepted and confirmed my order online and even sent me a confirmation saying my order would be ready in 20 min. But when I arrived to pick it up the girl looked at her phone then looked back up at me with a dirty look like I was an inconvenience to her. I told her I'm just here to pick up an online order and all she said was we rejected that order sorry. I showed her my confirmation with the eta and she said sorry the system automatically accepted the order. So now they took almost $50 from my bank with no estimate on how long it'll take to go back in my bank but they had no problem taking the money for an order they never planned to fulfill.

The girl in front always has an attitude and they hang up on you when they are busy. Other than that the food is good. Would recommend takeout tho

This restaurant in Tulare kills it. However, at this location they must be going out of business. Their 11.50 burrito is small like Taco Bell. Waste of money.

I've ordered online a couple times two times my orders have had mistakes the first time they hadn't began making the order although I placed it 15 minutes in advance and it ended up having the wrong meat. The next time they ended up giving the wrong items which I returned and then I recieved the wrong items again. When they don't mess up the order the food is good, however I would recommend not placing your orders online.
