This was once a family favorite in the 80s and 90s. I moved back to town and thought I would check it out. I ordered nachos and an enchilada. To be honest, the cheese enchilada with red sauce was actually pretty good. The nachos were covered in groundbeef but more like a thick gravy consistency and beans tasted like canned beans. Service was ok. It looked clean but there were more flies inside than outside, we chose to eat outside. I was expecting a nostalgic experience but it was far from what I remembered. It used to be one of my go to places for tacos and enchiladas, too bad Emma's closed down...

My husband and I stopped by yesterday and, unfortunately, we both left feeling pretty disappointed. We ordered two burritos — the portion sizes were decent, but the flavor just wasn’t there. They lacked seasoning, and we were surprised he said that he charges extra for chips when we had already purchased full meals. It felt a bit off, especially considering the total came out to around $35.
One thing I do want to highlight is that the owner was incredibly kind and welcoming, which we genuinely appreciated. I actually create food videos, but I chose not to finish filming out of respect for how nice the owner was. That said, the plates look really good on Instagram but unfortunately we ended up heading straight to Chipotle afterward, which was really disappointing after spending that much.

Carnitas plate always my favorite choice. So yummy. Friends had got tacos and enchiladas which they devoured. I got to have a to go box. Looking forward to midnight snack.

We eat here at least twice a month. I really like their steak fajitas. Yum!! The staff are friendly and attentive. Being a native Californian, I will say I've had better Mexican food. But it's in my friend's kitchen. 🤩
