Don't waste your money here. Not only are they expensive but they have horrible customer service.

Prefer Vegan/Vegetarian places to stick to Vegeterian foods instead of trying to imitate meat at all cost. The food was a scoop of baking soda wrapped in bread. The fries weren't cooked through since they were covered in baking soda bread. Couldn't finish my meal and my stomach expanded with the little I had. Customer service is okay but they could use some help.

They now do a chicken menu. Food was delicious?

Hello, just to update everyone. Masataco has CLOSED and is now under new ownership of Goldenfry, Plant Based Hot Chicken. Goldenfry opened 7/29/21 and will hopefully change their outdoor signs and logos very soon. Here is my recent review of newly opened Goldenfry.

My son took the family to Masataco for Father's day this year. The food was delicious. I had the Chile Relleno burrito. I was so big I planned on taking half home, but it was so tasty I ate the whole thing. This is becoming a regular lunch stop for us on the weekends.

I got a burrito and 3 tacos. The bill was $40, the food took awhile to come out but was all in all tasty. The usual guy that takes my order wasn't in today, this time the customer service was a miss for me. The guy asked "what do you want", I was giving my order and he kept sighing asking if that was all. I finished up, then I had forgot to add something I asked him to go back and add it. He then rolled his eyes didn't say anything must of added my stuff I paid and he walked away. The phone kept ringing, they kept shouting "NO" and not picking itReally disappointing, I don't mind to pay the prices here because the food is good but if it's that difficult to place an order this is my last trip here. If you visit this place, I hope you get someone else that isn't bothered by you stopping by.

I originally went here because I was close by and saw they had tea/coffee. I soon found out when inside that he had no tea or coffee products due to a late delivery or something. He only had water, jarritos, hibiscus water, and a couple of other bottled drinks. I decided to order food while I was there since the menu looked good and they had handmade tacos. I tried to order 2 items but both were out of something. I ordered the shrimp taco and he said he could do that. I also asked for chips and salsa. They might want to put a temporary menu up if they are out of so many items. The hibiscus water was good and was unsweetened how I preferred it. The shrimp taco was pretty good. The chips and salsa were not good. The chips were over cooked and the salsa was more like red enchilada sauce. Overall, the The meal was expensive for 1 taco and a hibiscus water.

Had $9.50 left on $50 gift card. The balance somehow disappeared. Don't get gift cards their system is not sophisticated enough to store a balance.

My husband & I are vegan and from Texas and had placed an order since it was closest place at the time while visiting Cali. And omg it was so delicious, I wish we were staying longer to try everything! It was tasty and looked pleasing to the eye. We ordered the chile relleno taco & oyster mushroom quesadilla. The best!! Highly recommend!

Picked up some food today. One asada burrito at $13 and 2 tacos at $5 each. Everything was super salty and the food was small not worth the price. The food would have been good if it wasn't so salty. I had to add other ingredients like avocado to neutralize some of the salt.

This place is incredible. Not only are they a vegan restaurant but they also have regular non vegan items aswell.. and their tortillas.. made fresh and DELICIOUS. I had their regular chicken tacos.. and my wife had their vegan carnitas ( which she LOVED) and she had their Baja shrimp taco that she also liked.

First time here. Tried the vegan carnitas (oyster mushrooms) burrito. It.was.delicious! Went back for some tacos. Vegan Shrimp taco was so good with the spicy sauce. Fresh house made tortillas. ?Fiancé tried the regular chicken tacos and loved them. Good spot, friendly staff, definitely going back. P.s Sorry I don't have pictures, the food didn't make home.?

Super nice staff. We chose Buffalo Cauliflower, Rajas and Tempeh Pastor tacos with the side of chips and salsa. Loved the organic handmade blue tortillas and plant based fillings. Crunchy fresh handmade chips. Delicious lunch today.
