Sushi Katsu-ya Woodland Hills

We had a great experience at Katsu-ya. The atmosphere was modern, the service was prompt, and the overall quality of the fish and presentation were excellent. We especially loved the Spicy Crispy Rice and the Yellowtail Jalapeño—they were both fresh, expertly prepared, and definite highlights of the meal! The rest of the nigiri was fantastic as well.
The only item that didn't suit my personal preference was the Ikura (salmon eggs), which I found to be a little too fishy for my taste. This is completely subjective, as others may enjoy the strong flavor, but I'll skip it on my next visit.
Overall, this is a beautiful spot for high-quality sushi. I would definitely return!
For future guests, a note on parking: there is pay parking for up to 90 minutes available nearby, or you can use the adjacent parking structure where the first hour is free for a longer stay.

Just came here with my girlfriend for her birthday, and I’m happy to say I will definitely be coming back here. The food here was so fresh and I had my food prepared very quickly. Which was pretty surprising considering the place was fairly busy when I got here. All and all, great Food, great vibe, great services. 5 stars!!!

Sushi Katsu-ya never disappoints! The sushi is always fresh, and the creamy salmon is absolutely incredible; rich, flavorful, and melts in your mouth. Great spot for consistently delicious sushi!

I love sushi in general but there food is fresh, and the packaging on every thing you order the presentation is neatly done and as you enjoy is flavourful and full-feeling and the way i eat sometimes is not enough so is a must i always order. Love your food.

Busy restaurant with good service and great food. We waited about 30 minutes to be seated for dinner. Their crispy rice tuna was delicious. Their rolls are fresh and filling. Would return again. I like this location more than the Northridge one.

Great sushi place, we had a great experience eating over there, the food is delicious, the sushi feels fresh, highly recommended.

It's okay. For the price, i would have expected something better. However, it's not better than other much cheaper sushi places. I guess if you like places that put their own twists and experiments, then it might be okay. Also they love adding onions on everything lol.

The food was great and Customer Service was excellent. The hostess yesterday really tried her best to make us happy. Will recommend to all my friends.

Their to go orders are always late, wrong and always missing chopsticks, soy sauce and wasabi. Very unorganized and such an incompetent manager.
