I was eagar to try this place as it was just a few blocks down from Teocalli, a place we frequent often.Sadly, it was quite a dissapointing experience. The bartender working was clearly annoyed on a busy Tuesday night, the staff overall looked stresseed and understaffed. We had to listen to 2 employees complain about a co-worker right in front of us at the bar.Chips and salsa were the highlight of our meal. After that, the stale tortillas and bland tasting tacos were very dissapointing. You could tell the ingredients were quite cheap. We were not able to finish all of our food.I think the atmosphere was quite good and it made you feel like you were in an authentic cantina, however the service and food made us believe otherwise. We will not be back as you can find a completely different experience 2 blocks down the road.

5 star taco restaurant! First time coming here, and the service was so welcoming. I ordered a bunch of different tacos, and they were all so good. Price and portions were on point and well worth it. I thank Big John (our server) for such an amazing time. He served us with a great attitude and was always there if we needed anything. If you like spicy salsa, I highly recommend their Spiciest Salsa because it has a real kick to it. I needed two portions of it. If you are visiting Old Town Arvada, I would definitely make a stop here since it's so accessible to walk to.Parking: Parking lot infront of the restaurant fills up quickly. 2 hr street parking up and down the street though.

Addison the bartender rocks.On point not only on bar but greeting and seating customers as well, multitasking, great attitude! Quality, low key cool setting with indoor and outside seating. This restaurant offers Creative Mexican inspired food made with very fresh and "clean" ingredients. The staff is genuinely friendly and attentive, and will try to make any experience positive for their guests.Well made consistent cocktails are offered along with a great Tequila selection with some good artisanal, and family produced Tequilas from Blancos to Añejos, and finally of course some Mexican beers.Vegetarian options: Veggie options are available, very accommodating.

White people might like it who might not know any better. Tortillas were old and dry and not house made, but also came drenched in oil. Got a few different ones to try and all the meats tasted the same. Nothing special here. Everything including the salsa needed salt, badly.
