A can’t miss spot in Arvada!! We strolled in off the street thinking we were going to a casual dive bar and it turned out to be a very cozy speakeasy vibe type spot playing Frank Sinatra. Staff was super nice and friendly. Hidden tiki bar upstairs!

Tried this for the first time and was underwhelmed. I ordered a cider and they were out. Then I ordered the chicken schnitzel and they were out…at 6 o’clock. The food menu is very small so not that many options. I then ordered the Mac & cheese and it was very bland and uninteresting. Our first round of drinks did not come quickly and our second round was even slower. The service is friendly but slow. The vibe is very cool and the cocktail menu is interesting. I would probably go here for a drink but not dinner again. There is a tiki room upstairs with live music that I will definitely check out.

I cannot say enough great things about the staff at the Arvada Tavern. We called to reserve a table with them on a Saturday (when they typically don't take reservations) because we were meeting to toast the 12 yo son of a family member who had died tragically in a car accident. He loved hamburgers and nachos, so we wanted to have his favorite food after the Celebration of Life.Not only did the Tavern make a special exception and allow us a reservation, they went above and beyond in being welcoming, and were so accommodating with our unfortunate reason for visiting.This kind of caring from ALL of the staff really shows the quality not just of their cocktails and food, but of how they operate a business and as good human beings. They exemplify what great service is.We've been going to the Tavern for over a decade, and we'll continue to do so forever with this kind of service and caring. Thanks to all who work there!

This place is alright in my opinion. It should be noted that I didn't order any food and that I just went for drinks. My friends got food and it seemed to be average-nothing special about it, which is normal for bar/tavern food. The drinks are also alright, nothing too special about them. There was a mocktail section though, which I really respect places for having and offering on the menu itself. Service felt-awkward? At times felt like being a burden by not ordering more food or drinks, but maybe I'm overthinking it. Favorite part would have to be the ambiance of the place as I'm a sucker for some good/dim/dark mood lighting. Don't think I would go here again, but if someone wanted to go, I wouldn't mind.
