Fantastic Sushi for take out! They package and prepare everything so beautifully, my guests are always impressed. The food is also delicious and very well made. It far exceeds my expectations based on their somewhat aged and eclectic atmosphere.

Came here from reddit as the sushi bar by my place closed. Wanted to have that last bit of sushi buffet goodness. The establishment was adorable, and the service was fantastic.Let's get into the food. For the price, I felt like I got my money's worth. Had I gone in and tried the sushi rolls without the all you can eat prices, I'd of spent tripple for each person for the verity. Why I didn't think the food was 5 stars. No fish eggs on anything which is fair but for example they used toasted seaseme seeds on top the muscles which overpowered the savory cheese flavor. The real 4 Star solidifier is their roll that was shredded crab on bottom and a shrimp on top like a shahimi and it tasted putrid. Might of just been me however. Everything else was tasty altho another corner cut was the eel. I think a good American sushi place needs quality BBQ eel. Maybe they were running low that day or perhaps it's to keep the buffet prices low but when I'm just eating rice and imitation crab rolls mostly why not just go to safeway...? I probably won't be driving back on that side of town for all you can eat sushi but I would drive to the other side for one of these special rolls but then again that bad fish taste kinda makes the 4 stars. Ps I worked in fishing and love fish head soup so when I say fishy I mean FISHY.

My partner and I have dined at Sushi Totoro multiple times — I can confidently say it's a gem worth exploring. This local restaurant is a short 15-minute drive away from me and I’ve never been disappointed with their rolls. They’re easily accessible and offer an extensive menu that caters to both lunch and dinner cravings. The all-you-can-eat sushi option is a standout feature and allows people to try a variety of delicious rolls without breaking the bank. The sushi combo meals are just as delicious, offering a satisfying mix of flavors at a great value. It’s important to note that there are a couple of drawbacks. During peak hours, service might experience delays, which can be frustrating for those with time constraints. Additionally, I’ve noticed that certain sushi rolls can be prone to falling apart easily, especially their nigiri. With its affordable prices and consistently great food, I still HIGHLY recommend Sushi Totoro for sushi enthusiasts looking for an overall good dining experience!

One of my favorite all-you-can-eat sushi places in southeast Aurora. I highly recommend coming in for dinner (24.99) as it also includes a multitude of special rolls on top of everything you can get on their regular order sheet.I recommend the My Girlfriend Roll if you're into spicy tuna and that spicy life. Another good one is the classic Spider Roll for some crunchy crab. The lunch all-you-can-eat is also a great deal (14.99), but doesn't include the special rolls. Still has a lot of popular stuff available from their order sheet, though! The main reason why I rate it 4/5 is due to the amount of rice used in their single pieces and rolls. Being all-you-can-eat, they try to fill you up with the extra carbs. That's understandable though, as the price you pay is worth it if you can eat a ton.Edit: Above is an older review, below is an updated review as of 03/01/2024Years later, I can finally update my review to a 5/5 for Sushi Totoro's All You Can Eat dinner menu! Due to inflation, the price of the ayce has gone up (to be honest, ayce prices have gone up everywhere, whether it's sushi, kbbq, hotpot, etc) but the value for the price is still within reasonable amounts (About 30-35 per person for dinner). The My Girlfriend Roll this many years later is still such a banger, and my new favorite roll that they have added to the menu, called the Truffle Salmon Tartar Roll is absolutely amazing. I get these two rolls every single time I visit, whether it's Lunch or Dinner. The variety of special roll choice is plentiful as always, you can easily find a special roll to cater to certain tastes.Their single piece sushi is generally flavorful and fresh, though the rice amounts are a little on the bigger side, but hey it's ayce, they gotta keep their margins in check somehow right? My favorite single piece sushi from them in particular are their Salmon, Tobiko (flying fish egg), Unagi (eel with unagi sauce), and Spicy Scallop (they serve their spicy scallop as a big chunk of scallop with sauce on top vs making a spicy scallop salad, and I absolutely love the texture of the bigger pieces of scallop). The reason why I'm upgrading my review to 5/5 is because this many years later, I still love coming to Sushi Totoro, and I enjoy everything they have to offer on their ayce menu. They have updated some items on their ayce thru the years, and have kept an amazing value in wake of inflation.

My absolute favorite place for sushi. Careful, always busy! Very cute decor based off My Neighbor Totoro. Everything is delicious, the all you can eat is an all time must! Their specialty rolls come in a delicious variety, highly recommend the Beef lover roll if you dont like sea food. Subtle and Smooth soup, Well flavored meats, perfectly rolled sushi/Packed Sashimi. Their Veggie rolls come in a good variety also! The Squash sweet potato one is so food and so is the fried tofu one! Always satisfies my cravings!

Wow the lunch buffet feels like a steal. The food is amazing, and service was great. A large amount of people coming in slowed it down a bit, but we still got everything we ordered. It was not the best sushi I've had, but was very delicious and 100% worth the price.Vegetarian options: Mushroom and veggie roll optionsDietary restrictions: Let them knowParking: Lot in front, come earlier to get a better shotKid-friendliness: Very friendly! I was hoping to enjoy a nice meal with my family, but I saw my server, an older gentleman, prepare my salad with his bare hands. When I asked him about this he said not to worry and charged me a leftover charge. The sushi was mediocre at best and the service was downright awful. I will not be returningDietary restrictions: My server said not to worry about my sons allergies??!?!!Kid-friendliness: Awful service, wouldn’t bring my kids here.

Usually goto Sushi Katsu however found this gem which is closer to home and quality sushi. Only thing that wasn't up to snuff was the calamari was very out of a freezer from grocery store quality and taste was not good. Sushi itself everything we had was great.

My favorite place to get sushi. Its always clean inside, fresh food, and great service. Plus, the Totoro theme is very cute. The manager is one of the best restaurant managers I have seen. He is very dedicated to the customer experience and supporting his staff. He is not afraid to do work himself when needed and is great at properly delegating staff. The sushi always comes out so fast. The servers are always so nice and in a good mood and well trained. They have a great variety of rolls and non-sushi options. Its cozy and feels like the perfect local family restaurant while still being nicely decorated. Great atmosphere. Plus, a great all you can eat option! If you do all you can eat there is a fun little timer game and if you stop it at exactly 10 seconds, your meal is free. I haven't gotten it yet, but I have gotten very close and its always a fun way to end your meal.Dietary restrictions: Vegetarian roll options.
