From the perspective of someone who looooooves Louisiana culture and food, we really appreciate how well the food is prepared at Lost Cajun. We had a group of eight ladies out for lunch. Only one lady had been there previously but for the rest of us it was the first time. I love how they provided a sample tray to help us decide what to order. Our server was excellent putting up with all of us. My lobster bisque was delicious and I ordered fried cat fish and shrimp--very good! We will return another time!
I was bummed they were too busy to bring a sampler platter of the gumbo's, because it was my husband's first time trying it. He'd heard me going on and on about all the different flavors and didn't get to try any except for ordering a whole bowl. The staff said they were too busy which we understood but then the table right next to us got one.
