We recently visited the Monarch hotel in Black Hawk Co. The resturant there, the Chop House was awesome. Chad was our server and made the experience worth the price. He went the extra mile for sure. We had the fillet steak which was melt in your mouth tender. Hardly had to chew it! Desert was tableside made raspberry Gelato with liquid nitrogen. Quite the show! You will not regret the visit. Thanks Chad!

Not to sure about reviews from a year ago and beyond come from, this Chophouse has only been open 3mos.Back to the review this Chophouse in Blackhawk, CO was excellent. The food was spot on and the service impeccable. Had the table side service which was as fresh as you can get. Stopped in here for breakfast with the wife while visiting Black Hawk. Our receipt says café but the pictures where we ate are Mill City Chop House; either way it was in the Saratoga Casino. I literally had the best Breakfast Burrito I have ever had here. It was amazing...... wife really enjoyed here food also. Can't say enough for Jena, our waitress. Was very polite and gave us several suggestions on what to do around town. Will be back and thanks Jena!
