Stayed for our anniversary last Friday. Room was clean. Very nice. all of the furniture was nicked, beat up, and looked like it was purchased from the Goodwill. Bathroom was clean and tiled.Tried to contact both the front desk and housekeeping to send up a couple of extra pillows, but no one would answer their extensions from our room after multiple tries.Timberline grill was good for service, however took over an hour to get our dinner (crab legs) which was obviously just thawed...read full review
This was my second visit to Ameristar and both were great visits. I love the big bar and it's a great place to watch a game or meet and talk to people. The bar tender took care of our group and was on top of his game even though it was busy. Shout out to Jessica at the front desk - you are the pinnacle of great customer service and the other front desk staff, bartenders and restaurant staff should take a lesson from you. Our experience was subpar aside from our check in process. On the second day I discovered my car got hit and damaged in the parking garage and staff wouldn't even take the time of day to check the cameras to send evidence to my insurance.
