Pica's Boulder Mexican Taqueria

Awful food. I had the carne asada quesidila and it was absolutely disgusting. Just thinking about it makes me want to throw up.

The staff was great but the food is inedible at best.

Definitely would not recommend!

Ordered the Tostada Salad and added the chicken tinga to it. I highly recommend this dish. Well seasoned and good spice to the chicken!

I had a confusing takeout order that got a little bit mixed up

Food is reliably good here—not amazing, but always tasty. I especially like the Baja fish tacos and the beet tacos, but prices are too high. That's the reason for my 3-star review instead of 4 stars. Hard to spend over $20 on a plate of two tacos, rice and beans when you add tax, let alone a tip (although it is counter service). Patio is nice in summer. Pica's is in my neighborhood and I would come more often if the prices were more reasonable.

Atmosphere and service is great but the food is like a 3/10 max. Under-seasoned, rice and beans had no flavor, and chicken was dry. Go to a taco truck if you want better food for half the price.

Restaurant is beautiful. Very kind staff and great service, speedy time. Unfortunately I go to restaurants for food only, and the food here is middle tier. Got the chicken carbon burrito. Rice is slightly undercooked, and seasoned slightly bland. At lease they have an entire assortment of hot sauces to choose from. Burrito was also 20/80 chicken and rice. For $15 I was hoping for at least 30-40. A great restaurant to go take friends to or for any occasion but sadly as someone who eats at plastic Pepsi cup authentic Mexican places in Denver this just simply can’t compete. Then again, it’s Boulder. Not a bad restaurant by any means, its a great place just not for picky foodies like myself

Pica’s is in my neighborhood, I’ve eaten here a lot and am glad they’re here! Just had an amazing set of spicy shrimp tacos and marg, hit the spot. Super friendly staff plus a delightful patio made it lovely.

We live so close to here and wish that place was good.
Last night we gave it one last try since it was graduation day and didn’t want to go into town.
Way overpriced food, sweet pre mixed margs and nothing but upset stomachs for the whole family.
Don’t love to bash local businesses, but this would be my last resort for Mexican food in all of boulder county

Love the simpleness of the food, and the staff is absolutely amazing. Don’t be afraid to try the specials. Haven’t been disappointed yet.

We've been there twice (for a meeting then for an end of season celebration) and not only is the food delicious (and the horchata and jamaica!), the staff is very kind and attentive and the restaurant itself is a lovely spot, especially the outdoor seating. Thank you, we're looking forward to going there more!
