Sushi Hana On the Hill

Great experience with our family. Japanese whiskey was lovely and a generous pour. Sashimi was fantastic and tea was also generous. Tempura and rolls were great too.

Honestly shocked at some of the poor reviews because I thought the portions were great for the price (especially in Boulder), the service was lovely even when busy with takeout orders, and the restaurant was clean and set a great scene.

Overall really good restaurant. There's very little to no wait time for a table, and the staff are always nice. I took my parents here when they were visiting and they loved how quick our food came out. Great price for such high quality food, would recommend.

Sushi Hana on the hill is my go to. Larry and Ivy are awesome. If you love fresh fish and smiling faces go here. The sushi combo is my favorite and the Japanese whisky ain’t bad. Always fast and fresh

Eat here all the time. Probably too much. So good better than other sushi in boulder and not as expensive! Service is fast and owner and servers are very nice! 10/10 try this before other spots

The sushi isn't really as fresh as it should be, and that is usually very important for sushi. Quality changes day-to-day. This last time we went we were served an off appetizer and a watery ice tea. Some of the rolls just didn't taste right.

First the bathroom was dirty, then sat down and ordered a sprite for $3.25 just for it to be a can, and you get no refills, when ordering a drink that does not come in a can, you get straws that are already opened and doesn’t come pre wrapped. At the end of our meal we weren’t asked if we were paying separately or together and was just handed a bill for the table. When we asked for it to be split we were handed a pen and was told we can split it ourselves. The place was empty when we walked in and no one came during our time eating, I think i understand why, with that kind of service and the lackluster food, I have no plans of going back.
