By far the best food we had in Buena Vista. The potato bisque was out of this world! Parmesan crisp was top tier. Pizza crust so light and almost had a fried feel to it. We tried the BBQ chicken and Caprese- both were excellent! Wait staff was very nice and the ambiance is good too. A big space which didn't get too loud even when busy (we hate a place you can't even have a conversation in due to the volume of the restaurant.)

We've been here several times since the place opened and it never disappoints. The host is always polite and welcoming the waiters are too. We've tried almost everything on the menu and everything has been great!! Except the Lobster ravioli. Lobster ravioli needs to come off the menu. We were surprised that this item was not good at all! Not a big deal because everything else is great!! They have a full bar and can prepare almost anything you want. They do get busy, so be prepared to wait to be seated, then wait a little more to get your food. They don't have any desserts, it would be nice to see some great desserts on the menu. Currently they only offer cheesecake, you'll be better off with a cheesecake from the frozen isle. ; /

Out of towner review:Great local Italian restaurant! Quite the busy establishment so plan to wait 20-30 minutes during the busy hours. Staff is incredibly nice, though they seemed to be struggling a bit when we asked for extra spoons and plates (they don’t have large dinner plates, somehow). Here’s what we ordered:- Caesar Salad (sized to split with 3 people)- Veggie Lasagna (tasty, though I’ve had better)- Pesto Pasta entree (a pleasant dish but nothing that wowed me)- Avalanche pizza (very nice, my favorite of the dishes we got. Recommend getting well done as it’s on the softer side)- Caprese pizza (enjoyable and nice, not too heavy on the balsamic)Overall, we had a very nice time at Crave and recommend it to anyone visiting the Buena Vista area. Enjoy!

At first I was skeptical I could find good pizza out here but this place was actually pretty good! I made a custom pizza with mushroom, pepperoni, sausage, and basil with their house red sauce and mozzarella cheese on sourdough crust (pictured). It satisfied my taste buds. The rest of our table got their pesto linguine dish (pictured) and spaghetti with meatballs (pictured). The spaghetti with meatballs looked like a kids meal for adults but the linguini dish was very good. Overall a good experience and nice ambiance.

Hands down the best pizza I’ve ever had. I got the bee sting with sourdough crust, and it was amazing. Also really enjoyed the ceasar for its spicy kick and delicious homemade croutons. It’s big enough to split among two, if not three, people.Interior decor was nice, and a nice vibe overall. Service was just average, but the food SHINES.Would 10/10 come back.

You can smell the pizzas from across the street! Delicious pasta. Loved the lasagna with sausage. Good bar, too.

We love Crave! I have dined at Crave on most of my visits to Buena Vista and I can't say enough how much this place stands above and beyond! The pizza is amazing. service is wonderful, staff is very friendly and helpful! Today my son and I went to the hot springs and needed a snack for the drive home. I order a pizza to go, we picked it up on the way out of town, we were literally not even to Hwy 24 and my boy had wolfed down the whole pizza. Thank you so much Crave! Keep up the amazing work.... Maybe next time I will actually get a slice.

A new favorite place for carry-out when we're in the area! We've vacationed in BV for years. We look forward to hiking in Collegiate Peaks and tolerate the food options for vegetarians. Wow, that has changed now! This food is delicious! We weren't interested in pizza this time. My husband chose the vegetarian lasagna rollatini. I wanted something a little less heavy, so chose the bowl of potato parmesan soup + half (power) salad. Everything was fabulous - hearty and healthy! We will definitely be back when we return to BV!Vegetarian options: Mirepoix base for the soup should be a vegetarian base.Parking: Plenty of free parking in the public lot on west side of building.

Awesome place, friendly staff and tasty, creative pizzas - not sure what else you could ask from a pizza place. We ordered two pies to take home for Monday Night Football and, even though we let them sit for 90 minutes while we waited on our third person to arrive and then reheated them in the oven, they were great! We had the Bee Sting (9 out of 10 for taste and 10 out of 10 for creativity). It has a drizzle of honey which sounded weird but my wife insisted would be great. As usual, she was correct and it was our favorite pie. The Supreme is a more classic offering and suffered a little more from the reheating process but it was still a solid 8 on the flavor scale. The food scene in BV is solid and Crave is a big part of the reason why!
Excellent pizza. I tried their demon pizza for the first time after a hike in the area and it was delicious! Great dough, great sauce, great cheese, great meat. I especially enjoyed the seasoning on the pizza. They took a little longer than expected to make it but more than compensated with 50% off without me saying anything at all which I thought to be great customer service. Will definitely be returning next time I am in the area

We stopped in Buena Vista on our way to Ouray. The aroma of Crave led me to investigate if they had gluten free pizza. I had originally planned to stop at another restaurant and I am glad I changed my mind.I had the Pig and Fig pizza on a gluten free crust. It is cooked in a wood fire oven on its own tray so there is no risk of contamination from the oven. I really enjoyed the combination of sweet and salty. The crust was well cooked and not crumbly. My husband had the Bee Sting on Sourdough crust. He said it was as good as pizza we would get back in Chicago! The portion size was perfect for us and they use high quality ingredients.

Crave is one of our go-to spots for an awesome meal in BV. Everything we've ever had there has been great. The pizzas come in either focaccia or sour dough crust - both are fantastic. Don't leave without the cheesecake! It is a great way to cap off dinner. They don't take reservations and the place is usually busy. So, be prepared to wait up to an hour for a table, but it is well worth the wait.

While we were visiting my husbands home town we ate here three times it was so good. The Bee Sting was amazing and we preferred the focaccia crust.
