You definitely get your money worth. However, the poor waitress was all alone handling so many tables- get her some help please!! The food was good.

My boyfriend and I love this place. We've been many times and have always had great service and amazing food. The Carnitas is one of our favorites. While I prefer this location, I've also been to the location on 8th street and it had the same great food. Each time we try a different Mexican restaurant we always end up saying we wish we would have just went to Miguel's.Quality food, good portion sizes, quick service and fair prices. We never leave disappointed. We tend to eat a little earlier than most, but have never had to wait for a table even on a Friday or Saturday evening.Hopefully one of these days we wont fill up too much on the chips and salsa and leave some room for dessert.Dietary restrictions: They seem to have ample selection for different dietary needs.Parking: We've never had trouble finding parking even on Friday & Saturday.

Food and service was great food came out fast along with our chips and queso we wanted ground beef in it but made the queso greasy so had the server take it back bring us queso with no ground beef. Got the bill was very high for 2 people! We asked for extras which we weren’t told will be extra to the bill that’s what made our bill outrageous.Parking: Seemed like a big parking lot for several businesses in that area looked like 4 restaurants in that area

Bad food, bad service, and a subsequently bad atmosphere. I ordered shredded chicken nachos without tomatoes for takeout only to get home and find tomatoes in them. I called to ask them to remake my order and they said they would but only if I “brought the food back”. I thought that was strange but they begrudgingly assured me that they would remake the nachos. I inspected my “remade” order prior to leaving and there were no tomatoes but when I got home I found tomatoes under the top layer of chips. It’s clear now that they just wanted me to bring the nachos back so that they could pick the tomatoes off of the top and pretend like they remade them for me. GROSS!Admittedly I ordered Miguel’s, which I know to be mediocre, because I wanted something quick and cheap and so I ordered simple nachos thinking that they couldn’t screw them up. But only Miguel’s could manage to do so and so I received what I always receive from Miguel’s; subpar midwest-quality Mexican food with a hint of laziness because their entire business model is predicated on selling over-salted food to drunk people who are unaware that Miguel’s version of “Mexican” fare is trash compared to real Mexican cuisine. All of the food here is soggy. My wife commented that somehow even the tortilla soup is soggy. Do yourself, your family, and the community a favor and eat anywhere else but here.

Food is good, but the service is the worst. They never checked on us, even the owner (or the manager, I don’t know. He is a old guy) passed by our table several times but he didn’t ask anything. I would never go back..

I went there for dinner the other night with my grand-daughter and we hadn’t seen each other in 8 mos so we wanted to have a couple of drinks before ordering food. The lady that waited on us did not speak very good English. We tried to explain this to her but she would come back every 10 mins to get our food order. So we gave in and order. The food was terrible! I will never go there again. Taco Bell has better food

Honestly, the food was disgusting. My nachos came out cold, the beans had a strange flavor and my son found 2 hairs in his taco plate. Gordon Ramsey would be appalled.

Poor service. Not once were we asked how our food was or if we would like a drink refill. It honestly felt like we bothered the staff when we asked for salsa and when placing our order. The staff just gave off such negative vibes towards us (Latinos) yet laughed and were very amicable towards the white patrons. When our food was brought to our table it was near close to being slammed on the table vs placed. Never coming here again.

1st time eating here... I ordered the menudo and it was a bit on the salty side. Service was ok, but definitely took longer than average to receive our food. It was definitely understaffed with one waitress and one bar tender. The waitress was having to do her work and his... All while the bar tender was just complaining to customers about the owers not caring. Which I thought it was very unprofessional to do. Prices where definitely on the on the high side. Over all, food was ok, but not for the price

We were visiting and went with Niece her favorite Mexican restaurant, it did not disappoint good food and margaritas. We sat on the patio and had great service and definitely a local spot.
Came in for a Sunday lunch. I love this spot. Unfortunately, the patio was closed due to possible thunderstorms, but it is nice to hang out outside. The chamoy margarita as well as the guava margarita are great. Highly recommend them

First time visiting Miguel’s Bar & Grill and WOW this place is so good!!! I wish we had one back in Texas! The salsa and guacamole were incredible, and the chicken tacos were phenomenal. Service was amazing! It’s a must try if you’re in Colorado Springs!

Were not checked on once- just order taken, and food dropped off. I had to ask for the bill, then it was still over 25 minutes until it was brought. No salsa or chips for the table were given, but was given to other tables. Also you charge 15 dollars for queso and give about 20 chips with no refills? The queso was still 3/4 full when we left.Drinks were empty for over half the meal but no one checked on us so were couldn't even get them filled.

The side order of Pork Green Chile was spicy but right on target flavor wise. The cheese enchiladas in red sauce and chicken enchiladas with green salsa both shared a strange bitter undertone. The chips and salsa were nice. If I ever go here again I will skip the enchilada section and give other entrees a try.

The service was excellent! We were seated right away and were checked on frequently. Everyone was very friendly. Food & drinks were decent, what you can expect from this type of restaurant.
