I'm giving 1 star not because of the food or service which is always great and normally 5 stars but because their website is not updated and still shows open. It's not, it's boarded up. And no note or explanation. I know they had the fire but at least they could update, they have a huge following and this is disappointing, can't even call because calls won't go through. Shame on you Johnnie, you dropped the ball on this one.

This place has been a great place to come eat and enjoy some drinks for years. It would be nice if they could keep some staff around longer than a couple months. However, they all seem to be very nice. Hope to see them reopen soon.

I’m a big fan of JNH. The building carries historical relevance, the bar is friendly and has quality service, the table service is solid, and the food is off the chain. Sports on tvs all around, live music on certain nights, and they welcome our kids running around. Outdoor seating is nice. Be somebody and get some good grub and a beer.

You get the feeling that when old friends who know about this say, "Let's get a beer," the destination is unspoken. Friendly staff, friendly customers and a thoroughly unique atmosphere that hasn't changed in decades. Trivia tournaments, games on large screens, cool Navajo Hogan style and comfort food. Outstanding Beer Cheese soup that can easily become an addiction (known to East Coast friends as "the BEST Welsh Eaten it you've ever had). If we are in the area, I will start chanting, "Ho-gan, Ho-gan. Go-to for people who know that the secret to atmosphere is people and good food, not breaking the bank. Love this place.

Aspen is the best server I've ever come across. We had 14 people in our group and she was fantastic! Great food and kids meals were great portions!

Pizza was too greasy. Service is very nice. Nice atmosphere.

The French dip was wonderful... ♡ ☆☆☆☆☆ the 'sautéed veggies' were just the peppers&onions for the Philly ☆☆... the salad would've been delicious if the tomatoes had been fresh prepped, and the lettuce newer... with the pandemic, I understand though. The architecture was fascinating... overall a pleasant experience, with good fodder... and a wonderfully pleasant experience with my dad.

Great food and service. A unique and historical building. The tater nachos, fish and chips, and Indian tacos where delicious.

They had a lot going on when I went in (card machine and TV's were down. They were also getting busy during this time) but lunch staff (young female bartender and young dark haired male) didn't miss a beat. Serving is tough work and despite a bunch of stuff out their control going on I was satisfied with my service and their ability to roll with everything going on. Sept. 3rd's waiting and bartending staff deserve a raise for their killer service!

The French dip was great. Veggies were meh... salad had potential. Architecture and ambiance make for a pleasant experience all around. Interesting history, too.

My wife loves broasted chicken, a mid-west delicacy. Johnny's is the only place around that has it available, and it is wonderful. Happy wife, happy life.

The restaurant has free parking. The employees were masked as a COVID-19 precaution. The restaurant has numerous rooms. I was seated in the front dining area, so I can only comment on that portion. There were several televisions, full bar service, and patio dining. My server was friendly and attentive and my Cobb salad was excellent.
