This is the best sushi in Colorado Springs by far. We are foodies and have tried tons of places in town and this is the absolute best of all hands down! Quick service and awesome customer service. Love this place 10/10 recommend

Idk what was going on but instead of the bento box with tempora they gave us fried carrots and the soup was cold as ever.

Popped into Yoo Mae during a business trip to Colorado Springs, and blimey, what a cracking dining experience! The host was absolutely top-notch—one of the most attentive I’ve ever come across. The sushi roll selection? Oh, it's a proper feast! They’ve crafted rolls to represent all 50 states of America 🇺🇸—how brilliant is that?
The fish? Fresh as a daisy and prepared with such careful skill by the chef—it’s like a little dance of flavours in every bite. Highly recommend giving them a go when you’re in town.
Just a heads-up: there’s a 3% surcharge if you’re paying with a credit card. Cheers to great food!

Servers are great. Owner is nice. Food is good. Cost is decent. Cleanliness of silverware is unacceptable, pulled from a drawer of half washed dishes. Owner constantly sneezes while making food, every time I’ve been in, for years, ew. I figured it would’ve stopped at some point, he doesn’t sneeze on the food but near enough to concern.

The best sushi in Colorado Springs in my opinion and I’ve tried many sushi places! I hope everyone gets the pleasure of meeting Andrew, the friendliest and most competent server I’ve met. It’s a cozy spot, not pretentious. Little Knick knacks decorating the restaurant which I learned are from customers bringing gifts! Will definitely be back again.

There is no place better for sushi in Colorado Springs. JJ, owner and chef, produces an authentic Japanese experience with his sushi. Andrew, the waiter, is an experience unto himself. He is attentive and enthusiastic. I don’t even waste my time getting sushi anywhere else.

The waiter is super friendly and nice. Good to chat with. The food was so yummy. It's my first time here and I only had one roll and the veggie tempura. And you get a lot for the price!

Excellent sashimi, both the tuna and salmon were extremely fresh. Rainbow roll was also good as well as the global, seaweed salad and miso soup.
It is a small boutique restaurant, but serves up very good food.

while many dishes on the menu reasonably seem ghoulish due to their unconventional ingredients, the food itself is exquisite, highly recommend
Food was just ok but didn't have any of the traditional rolls. They played off the 50 states which was cool, but didn't really relate. Very overpriced as well
