Caldero Restaurant is a hidden gem for those who love a mix of American and Southwestern flavors. The menu offers a great variety, from hearty burgers to flavorful southwestern dishes with just the right amount of spice. The atmosphere is cozy, and the staff is always welcoming and attentive. Whether you're in the mood for a casual lunch or a relaxed dinner, Caldero has something for everyone. Highly recommend trying their signature dishes, they’re packed with flavor. Definitely a go-to spot for anyone in the area.

Went to Caldero yesterday for lunch, and I'm so glad that we did. The food came out hot, fresh, and delicious. To top it off, we sat at the bar with Tom, and he provided outstanding customer service with great conversation. The chicken tortilla soup was hearty and delicious. When it started to get cold, this would be an excellent choice to order. For an entree, I ordered the double pork chops, and they came out perfectly cooked and extremely hot fresh off rhe grill the way I prefer mt food and mashed potatoes creamy and corn paired well with the dish just an all around outstanding lunch experience and we can't wait to go back. Thanks again, Tom, for a delightful experience!

Wheelchair accessibility: There's an elevator to the 2nd floor.

My husband and I enjoyed the ALASKAN HALIBUT herb butter, Yukon Gold mashed potatoes, carrots, asparagus
*buttery melt-in-your mouth halibut with a crispy coating - perfection!
DOUBLE BONE-IN PORK CHOPS apple compote, grilled corn medley, mashed potatoes
*The best pork chops he has ever had- tender, with a nice crisp on the outside, the sweetness (apple compote) brings another dimension to the pork chops

The chili relllenos appetizer sold my husband and our friend to get the full sized version for dinner. I went for the salmon, corn medley and the silkiest, butteriest mashed potatoes I’ve ever had. Yum to all of it! My only regret is I didn’t have room for the Texas Sheet Cake for dessert! Our server, a stunning bespectacled brunette whose name started with A (I can’t remember it) was phenomenal. She guided my husband to one of his favorite cocktails on earth with mezcal and tequila and smoke and suggested a sparkling lemonade and strawberry mocktail for me. She went out of her way to make sure that my leftovers made it home safely, too, after the baseball game. Can’t wait to go back to this restaurant again!

Good service, nice pictures on the wall, and if you are staying at the Rally Hotel, they'll give you a free appetizer.

We had a wonderful dinner here. It's more of a very nice steakhouse, but they also have some really good Mexican food here as well. If you're looking for a special occasion restaurant, this place is amazing.

Cool location and ambience albeit hard to get to if you don't know where you are going. But that's where it ends. Service very slow and not good at all for an upscale place. Prices? Wow. Prices were insane. 8 bucks for a small side and I mean small side of beans. 50 bucksfor the smallest mixed fajitas I've ever seen. And no peppers. Just overcooked chicken, steak, shrimp and onions. Drinks? Insane expensive. I mean they tasted ok. But seriously you guys should do a solid pre game happy hour to drive some more traffic. Would go to a lot of other options in the other area next time.

Went to Caldero for dinner before the Billy Joel concert. We ordered a margarita and beer at the lower bar. My margarita was lime juice and sugar cane, NO alcohol. I only realized this after we went upstairs and added our name to the waitlist.
We were told a table for 2 was an hour wait. I received a confirmation text about being placed on the waitlist. After 1 hour, I inquired how many tables of 2 were ahead of us. The hostess with blonde hair would not provide a direct answer. She told me to order another drink. I had a full drink in my hand (a true margarita this time). What I observed next blew my mind. The hostesses were no longer using the waitlist to assign tables. It was who they preferred to sit. I watched this at least 3 times. I was standing directly across from the hostess stand. We left. It is now 11:40pm and I am still waiting for the text to say my table is ready. We ran into 2 woman in the way out. They had an actual reservation and were ignored as well. If you like to flirt or maybe pay the hostesses to get a table quicker, this is your place.
