Other favorites have come and gone, but I'd rate Deep Roots as the best winery/wine bar in Denver right now. Having tried a few local breweries before, I wanted to explore some Colorado winemaking. This wine maker buys the majority of their grapes from outside Colorado (California), but makes the wine locally. As a red drinker, I tried everything from a Barbaresco to a Petit Verdi and Tempranillo. All were very good, if not all to my taste personally.
