Don’t eat here. Food is disgusting and the wait staff lies and steals from customers

I somehow didn’t complete my Resy reservation but they got us in anyhow. The food was delicious. Try the octopus and the crab stuffed cod as well as the oak-fired anything. Save room for the key lime pie! Dior, our server, was awesome! The music was a bop!

Great local spot for seafood. Normally, when you think “fresh seafood” and “Colorado” you think, “do I have enough toilet paper at home for this.” - but fish and beer does it right! Great happy hour, too.

I don't know if it's different owners from pre Covid but definitely noticed a vibe and food change.Fish and chips was just a giant wad of greasy fish and wasn't bad just wasn't worth the price point . Upgraded for broccoli for like $5 and it was terrible tasted like straight smoke flavor. Like it was pretty gross . Blue crab cakes where also greasy/lack flavor . Again for the price I would NOT recommend over GBS fish and chips .Kitchen and wait staff passed the vibe but the front of house manager seemed agro , high strung , but not really attentive. Never asked about how food was . The server was really nice tho...Also wiping the tables w a smelly bar towel between dishes is disgusting. I could smell the towel so could the other party . A bleach towel would also be weird and unless you're using a separate towel for each table,(which I doubt ) it's super unsanitary.

This place has been on our list for a while and we finally made time to check it out for restaurant week this year.Cocktails were excellent. Highly recommend the carajillo and my gf really enjoyed the Paloma.Food was overall very good. Standouts were the crab fritters, octopus, key lime pie, and crème brûlée.We will definitely be back to try more. An overall great Friday evening and meal.

Since it has Beer in the name, be prepare for drinking crowds and much louder background. However, the food is good, specially the grilled Spanish octopus. It was done just right, it will surprise you with its great favor, plus the great potato conditions.Don't forget the blue crab fritters with habanerd aioli as the appetizer, crispy shell loaded with good favor. Aioli is a bit too salty for me otherwise would be good a accompany.Hokkaido scallop was a bit disappointed with over strong seasonings that overpowered natural favors.Short rib orcchitte has good braised short ribs enhanced whole plate.Grilled Alamosa Bass was a bit of a disappointment, there was a bit of mud favor.Take creme brute over their key line pie by all mean.Restroom is a bit smelly so be aware. (Needs better venting and cleaning)Parking: It can be a bit tight in parking as there is no parking lot around, so street parking is the only option. However it's not far from A-line 38th station, so leave you driving to RTD and enjoy your drinks.Kid-friendliness: To loud for kids, plus it's beer!

Me and my wife were traveling for business with no reservation and walked in. We were told they would message us in an hour with a table… 1.5 hrs later we received a message to come sit at a table. Only after we ordered drinks were we told that half the menu was unavailble. We communicated our dissatisfaction respectfully with the waiter asking for our drinks to be compt so we could leave and find another meal “did not even take two sips of drink yet”. The waiter left and the manager came to our table who we respectfully retold our dissatisfaction to. “No curse words spit” The manager had no humility or accountability for the lack of transparency in service and instead made it personal by saying we were rude for how we voiced our dissatisfaction. Long story short I’ve never wrote a review in 40 yrs of life lol but they suck even if the fish is good. If the owner reads these educate the staff that an upset customer who is taken care of is a customer for life. We understand things happen but understating and humility go a long way. Managers with egos don’t.

Yum!! Fish n Beer has a great menu - we loved the oysters, pretzel, Scottish salmon, and the scallops. The staff were attentive and lovely. They have a great happy hour menu till 6:30 on Saturday! We’ll be back!
