I cant support a business that jacks its prices up 200%. Convenience store pricing is one thing but what theyre doing is straight up price gouging. Seemingly nice staff but it really doesnt make up for their outrageous prices considering there are 711s and grocery stores within a mile of that of that shop, id rather walk an extra 3-4 blocks and my dollar stretch by up to 50% more somewhere else.

WARNING!! Take caution while shopping here!The people who work here are often pretty cool, so why did I give it 1 star?Because they are scammers. They have a "buy 1 get 2 free" deal on wine, which sounds great, right?Well, the wine they're selling goes for an msrp of around $7-$8 a bottle. I opted for the buy 1 get 2 free deal and didn't realize until I looked at my receipt that they charged me $30 for ONE bottle of wine. I understand up-charging like $1 or something more than msrp of you're doing a deal like that, but doing a %325 markup is insane.Another thing to notice is that they don't have prices on their liquor for a reason... They will fit a crazy charge like this on your bill if you're ever getting a decent amount of items because you're less likely to notice.It's a bummer, because this was a really good neighborhood Bodega, but unfortunately, they have been pretty sketchy lately.Hopefully this helps. Just make sure you watch out and ask questions about prices while you shop here.

The cashier kept calling me sir when I told him I don’t use male pronouns (in fact, he started using it more throughout the transaction.) Did not feel respected and won’t be returning.
Place was cool and had good employees but recently the beat employee stopped working and got replaced with a rude dude, not very pleasant anymore
