I don’t generally right bad reviews but my recent visit to Mizu in the Denver International Airport, on the morning of Saturday, October 26, 2024, was a huge letdown. I ordered a breakfast platter, expecting the same quality I’ve enjoyed in the past, but this time was a completely different story.

First, my eggs came out scrabbled when I’d requested them over easy. The bacon was barely warm, and the potatoes were still cold in the center. The food quality was surprising, especially since I was the only one in line, yet I waited over 20 minutes. This kind of wait might be understandable if the food came out hot and well-prepared, but that was far from the case.

To make matters worse, I ended up experiencing stomach cramps during my flight later that day. I can't be certain whether it was food poisoning or not, but it certainly left me with concerns.

When I asked who had prepared my food, since I was shocked at how it turned out, I was told someone named Tovee or Povee made it. Whatever the reason for this drastic decline in quality, I hope it’s addressed soon, as this was far from the experience I’d come to expect here.

Very disappointed.

Good place, but I wish they wouldn't put a fresh sashimi in the same delivery bag as hot cooked items - fish quickly becomes boiled, texture degrades, this isn't good for expensive sashimi orders. Price/quality this place is below the Denver's average.

Nice servers. Food okay. But they BLASTED music so loud we couldn’t hear each other talk. We asked them to turn it down and they said no. We left as quickly as we could.

Delicious! Large portions, I encourage sharing. The wait staff was lovely and very helpful with splitting the check. Def recommend the furikake fries and crispy gyoza. They also have a great matcha tea brewed with toasted rice, it has a much nuttier flavor that even people who dislike green tea might enjoy.

Just ate at their B terminal location at DIA where the hostess was too busy flirting to get us a table, so we grabbed food and sat at a table where a very rude waitress told us that we had to move since we were to go order food. I explained we didn't want to go food we wanted to relax and order more food but were being ignored by the hostess so she could flirt.

I've been coming here for years. This place is just the best - really! Our servers generally remember me and my friends because we come at least once a month. I'm originally from a coastal state, so I'm a bit picky when it comes to seafood. Their sushi is incredible! My go to meal here is ramen and a roll, topped off with one of their seasonal sauv blancs or a seasonal cocktail. The vibe can go from super fun on the weekend nights to beautiful, open, and calm during the day. No matter how busy they are, we rarely end up waiting for a table for more than 10 minutes. I'll always recommend Mizu's to anybody looking for good sushi and ramen! Have fun exploring their other menu items as well - they're all fantastic (especially the short ribs).

The food was good but the music (not dinner music, but club music) was insanely loud. When we asked if they could turn it down, they said it only has one volume. It was hard to talk, think, let alone eat in that environment. When we left, you could hear the music a block away. Unless you want to be in a club-like place to eat sushi with your brain and ear drums blowing out of your head, I don't recommend and I will not be back. Too bad, because the sushi is pretty good.

Well this place used to be amazing but no more. I think this is the last time I was there. Food was horrible starting with miso soup that was the salties miso soups I've had. Sushi was meh and fish didn't look or taste fresh. Table was dirty and sticky when we sat down and waited forgot half the order. So yea this place went downhill. Very sad because I really like this place for awhile.

We used to come to Mizu for at least 4 years, that restaurant used to have great service, delicious sushi…not anymore. The service is incredibly sloppy (maybe because of how busy that restaurant got), food is super mediocre, some dishes r just terrible.
It used to be my favourite restaurant in Denver…so it’s super disappointing ?
