I only got their ramen for takeout so can’t speak on the service or other food items. I highly recommend the roast duck ramen! It’s so good! The meat was cooked in a way that didn’t feel flaky or had that “ducky” flavor. It was not a huge portion but left me full and satisfied. The broth was on the moderate side without it being too oily or overwhelming.

Mizu Izakaya and sushi was ABSOLUTELY amazing!!!! Their menu selection was huge and the sushi we had ordered was PHENOMENAL!! Every single roll was to die for! The quality was amazing and the restaurant was very packed and energetic. Definitely recommend and will 100% be coming back for more!

By far the best Sushi I've had in Denver. Ana was awesome and so much fun. We went for a birthday and it was such a great atmosphere to celebrate. The food was phenomenal! I would give this place more than 5 stars if I could!

Went here with my father. $80 for the two of us after tax and tip. Trendy atmosphere but the prices absolutely reflect that. Menu didnt feel authentic considering the Japanese theme that was presented, if youre looking for authenticity find somewhere else. Food was fine, I wasnt particularly impressed with the buns, sushi, or spring rolls (which should have been far cheaper than they were). overall, 3/5.

My Wife and I celebrated our first wedding anniversary at Mizu Izakaya & Sushi, This was our 2nd time at the restaurant we loved it so much the first time that we decided to go there again, and it did not disappointed. I wish i could remember the name of the girl who took care of us, she brought a couple champagne glasses for us to celebrate, we were not expecting that. it made us feel very special. the food was just fenomenal we started with edamame XO, Brussel sprouts and 2 spicy tuna rolls by far the best spicy tuna we've ever had. this restaurant provides an experience and keeps the standards very high. we appreciate that.

My friend and I had a variety of rolls, but I had the LoHi and Tokyo, as well as Tonkatsu ramen. The food was excellent, the presentation was great, and I loved the lighting and decor inside.

The food was delicious. Everything we ate was top notch and delicious. Drinks were good. Service was a little slow at times and we sat on the patio, closest table to the door, which was a little cold and not super pleasant. Other than that it was great and we will definitely be back.

Wow the sushi was the best sushi I have had in Denver, the service was great and the hostess was high energy and helpful. I highly recommend getting the sashimi or nigiri. I also loved the Ginnie in a bottle drink. The one thing was the noise level was pretty high, so if you have trouble with noisy environment this place might be alittle tough. They had a Dj playing music loud but the music was fun vibe! Over all an amazing dinner.

We had a wonderful experience overall. We lived in Japan for four years and have eaten at countless sushi restaurants all over Japan and North America. Mizu Izakaya was very authentic (both the overall look as well as the food). It was also nice to see that they offered our favorite Japanese beer, the large bottles of Asahi Super Dry :-)

DO NOT GO HERE!!! idk if the lady we encountered was the owner, hostess or a server but she is RACIST!!! had a group of black men she did not want to seat or serve. Came from winter park resort and got stuck on the train due to an accident. We were hungry and tired. Upon entering and asking for a table for 7 she told to “just go to McDonald’s”. Then Instead of seating us on the main floor at a table big enough to accommodate she seats us at a smaller table and says “we have to be able to afford enough food to sit at a bigger table”. A member of our group needed to use the bathroom and found the toilet to be blocked and asked her to address and toldHim to “just go outside”. That’s when we decided to get up and walk out.

I’ve been coming here for years and always have a decent experience. DO NOT ORDER TAKEOUT ON A SATURDAY NIGHT. My food was supposed to be ready at 7:45 and at 8:45 I walked out without my full order cause I was so sick of waiting.

Mixup needs to decide if it wants to be an upscale restaurant that is serving outstanding quality of food at a price premium or a nightclub. At the price point they are at, feels like they want to go the upscale route, but the overall noise and service level says nightclub

We went to Mizu Izakaya for my wife’s birthday last week, and have to say we enjoyed this place so much, first impressions was the atmosphere and design of the restaurant. The menu is super easy to navigate we are in love with the Brussel sprouts and the Adémame xo we had that for appetizers and then some sushi, we would definitely come back againParking: You know how it is in Denver, still worth to try
