I really wanted to write a different review. I was looking forward to eating at this restaurant but the food and the staff left me feeling disappointed. We ordered the cauliflower, ceviche, sausage pizza and Santa Fe chicken salad. The cauliflower was greasy and over sauced. The ceviche had very little flavor. The salade was wilted and over dressed. The pizza was the best dish we had and it was forgettable. When we asked our bartender which IPA was the best. His response was I dont know. He seemed very put out that we were asking questions about the beers. Usually bartenders are very friendly and helpful, not this guy. I didn't catch his name. We sat at the bar, which had a gorgeous view of the city and mountains. That is the only positive part of this experience. Truly disappointed and regret spending my money here. I miss feeling valued as a customer. Customer service is becoming a lost art.
Visited for a team work dinner and although the rain left us sitting inside, it was definitely still a nice view! It was around 5:30 on a Monday so it was pretty quiet and there was ample seating. I ordered the Black Manhattan (surprisingly tasty!) and the Fire Sausage Pizza which was also delicious and quite a sizeable portion (had leftovers to take home!). I wasn't super impressed with the service (example -- never came by to check how the food was or if we needed more water) and the limited parking options (or expensive valet) is unideal.
Cool vibe, great view of the skyline. Started with a cocktail outside on the deck than moved inside for dinner. Dinner was perfectly prepared and absolutely delicious. Staff were busting their butts but still had time to be personable. All in all a great evening.
Beyond excellent views. Fantastic food. Good Service
What an incredible restaurant in Denver. The view is awesome and the food is even better! I had the chicken piccata and it was phenomenal. Other people in my group got the shrimp ceviche, steak, and other dishes and everyone raved about their meal. The staff was great and the chef visited our table and was so nice. I recommend this place to anyone in Denver and can’t wait to go back!
Wonderful food & service! Cannot beat the view!!

Good lord. This place is legit. I was hesitant with the bad reviews on yelp but absolute 5 stars! Obviously incredible views, the cocktails and wine were fantastic. We started off with the ceviche app - very tasty. The entrees all were so good: we got Caesar salad, Scottish salmon, steak & fries and chicken piccata. A variety of dishes and all really good (and we have "picky" eaters in the group). And the service TOP KNOT. We loved Paula. Thank you for being so attentive and treating us well. Can't wait to return!
Made a reservation this past Sunday for my first wedding anniversary. We showed up about fifteen minutes early fully expecting to wait but we’re seated right away. They weren’t seating anyone outside because there was a storm watch. It didn’t end up storming but we sat right next to the big garage doors leading outside. The food was great and the drinks were good too. The view was the biggest thing. It was breathe taking and so relaxing to see. Would definitely go again and maybe even stay at the hotel.
Great views and a great selection of drinks! Really good service too. One of the best rooftop spots in Denver. Will be returning.
This is a must for a good view and a cocktail. Check to see if they have live music or not and decide if that's your vibe before going. It can get loud! The food is ok. I've heard better things about breakfast/brunch.
The venue is great and the views are very nice. The meal started well with drinks and tasty appetizers. And the Wait Staff were attentive and courteous. Then came the entree. I ordered the flank steak with chimichurri sauce, medium rare. It came out done, not even close to medium rare. The meat was grey. The others at my table and the waiter agreed and the waiter took it back. The executive chef, Mark Bieseker, then came out and argued with me and said that I obviously wanted it rare as it was served medium rare. I told him we all saw it and it was done, not medium rare. He still argued with me and said he would bring me one rare as that is what I apparently wanted. I have never had a chef come and argue over a meal. I have eaten in some of the best steak houses in the country and had steaks that weren't cooked correctly and all they ever did was just bring me a new steak. The audacity of someone arguing over a meal cooked incorrectly is amazing, much less the Chef himself coming out of the kitchen to argue when he was obviously wrong. I canceled my order and, unfortunately, will never eat here again nor recommend it to anyone else.
The woods has sweet views of Denver. Beer selection is respectful. Most of all, the service behind the bar was super friendly, inviting, and professional. My buddy ate the steak from the menu. He loved it. I recommend checking it when in Denver. Sit on the roof patio. Enjoy and cheers.
Can’t say enough good things about The Woods! From the view, the vibe, the service, the food to the drinks! You can’t go wrong. We started with the charcuterie and the waitress was kind enough to get us gluten free bread. The Korean Cauliflower was sweet, tangy and crispy on the outside and soft of the inside. Great big portion to share with the whole table. The burrata salad is my go to with salmon, always amazing! We also got a pizza, the trout and another salad. Everyone loves their food and drinks.
The views are UNMATCHED. Go at sunset and expect to be blown away. As for the food and drinks, the frose is meh and we only got a charcuterie board for food. The charcuterie board was pretty good and I would say is perfect for 2-3 people to enjoy. The toast served with it was slightly burnt but other than that good flavors. I'll be back for the views for sure.
