Delicious. Loved the Dog Bowl dish! Country fried steak was top notch. Great service. Reasonably priced. Coffee wasn’t half bad. French toast was awesome. The “Just Peachy” mimosa was delish! Will definitely be back

Nice spot for a meal prior to heading to the slopes. Food was awesome & very filling. Staff was friendly. Had the Porker omelette with grits. I will say the grits are the best I have ever eaten in Colorado & I love me some grits! Highly recommend?Food: 5/5

Best breakfast around, with the best service to boot! Come hungry, because the food here is oh-so-delicious with generous portions of both comforting classics and fun takes on the typical egg and protein. You can't go wrong with a dog bowl or some cheesy grits - best way to power a Summit County day!

While the family slept in on our last day in Keystone, I walked to Haywood’s Cafe which is located near the base of the mountain at the Keystone Resort. The decor of the place oozes Colorado with wood paneled walls, a gas fireplace and nearly all patrons dressed like there was a sale at Filson going on. Beanies, goatees and hats worn backward were the accessories of the day. I ordered the standard breakfast (two eggs, sausage and grits) with a side of biscuits and gravy. The meal was excellent from the start as I chose to try the grits first. I have to say that these were the best grits I have had anywhere. Admittedly, I’m likely not a connoisseur of grits as my southern brothers (I’m from Kansas City), but these were creamy (not grainy), cheesy and well seasoned. If you haven’t yet learned to like grits, I would offer Haywood’s grits as a required course in your study of grits. Next came the biscuit and gravy (I ordered as a “side” so that order included one biscuit). I am much more of a connoisseur of sausage gravy than grits and this gravy was really good too. The gravy was speckled with luscious bits of sausage and other cooked remnants that make a good gravy, great. I highly recommend Haywood’s when you find yourself close to Keystone. I hear the mimosa’s might be worth a try too!

Great bunch spot! Short drive from Breckinridge. They did a good job of accommodating our large group including a baby. I liked the eggs Benedict options and my chorizo one was fantastic. I also tried a jalapeño elk sausage that was unique and tasty! The coffee and Bloody Mary drinks were also good. Fun decor inside.

I never write reviews but had to give some love to the good people at Haywood. We came for breakfast, we had the chicken fried steak and eggs and corned beef hash. Simply one of the best breakfasts I remember having. Everything was fresh made and tasty. Our server Austin deserves a call out for being prompt and attentive without being intrusive even though they were very busy. Good job everyone I will be back.

After being treated rudely at another breakfast restaurant, we left and found this gem. Not only were the server and manager extremely friendly, the food was delicious. The French Toast was very flavorful and the Classic Benedict was near perfection. We'll definitely stop back here on our next trip to Keystone (and bring more people with us!).

My husband and I made this our first stop when visiting. The service was excellent and quick. The pina colada mimosa was amazing!

Great food, service and drinks. I had the biscuits and gravy and hubby had the country fried steak. They had the exact same gravy, which was fine, except mine was supposed to have sausage and it hardly had any sausage at all. That's the only reason I didn't give 5 stars.

This restaurant is a favorite go to place when visiting Colorado. The poached eggs are beautifully done.

We live nearby and enjoy this popular local spot with friendly service. The food is great with a varied menu and is popular with tourists and locals alike. Peak times could have a wait but most of the time you can walk on in!

Wow, what a gem! We were staying in Keystone and this was next to our condo. Great menu (breakfast, lunch and drinks). We were there for breakfast. We are "foodies" of sorts. I had beef hash (mouth watering) with over easy eggs and my hubby had the basic eggs, sausage (spicy and yummy) and grits (some of the best I've ever had). Coffee was actually pretty darn tasty also. Staff was friendly and hard working. Highly recommend to anyone in the Keystone, Dillon, Breckinridge to make this stop!!
