Super cute café with a full breakfast and coffee menu. Also doubles as a bookstore.
Buiscits and gravy 2 eggs and a choice of meet... Was AMAZING! I'd been hiking recently in the area, having a great breakfast in town really hit the spot!
Super tasty biscuits and gravy! The iced coffee is great too!
Just had breakfast at this place, found a hair in my chicken. When I told the cashier that they should know about it, she just said ok. No apologies, no credit on the price. Bad attitudes and questionable food.
By far the most amazing salmon sandwich I’ve ever had in my life! With pesto and provolone... I added pickles and red onion. Something about the way they toasted the bread with their signature oil blend, and that salmon was just cooked to perfection... WOW. And it was a big fillet too!
We stopped by the Mid Town Cafe twice during our weekend stay in Grand Lake and enjoyed each visit. The coffee drinks we got came boiling hot, so give them a minute to cool. I got the Biscuits and Gravy for breakfast and they came out fast and good.
I was traveling through town and decided to stop for breakfast. The woman who took my order didn't seem very enthusiastic about taking my order. My french toast was barely edible and very wet for some reason, almost like it was just dipped in eggs and put on the plate. The croissant I ordered looked good but was not what I ordered. I ordered just cheese and bacon. It came out as bacon, egg, and cheese. At no point while ordering did the word egg come out of my mouth so I am not quite sure how it made it onto my croissant. Maybe if the staff member taking my order had an ounce of pride in her work my experience would have been different. I paid $23 for two bites of soggy french toast. I was too hungry and irritable to be able to not cause a scene if I went to complain so I just left quietly and went to McDonalds.
Disappointing at best. Would probably be better if we were in to that type of place but, we are not. The food was okay. I ordered my eggs over-medium, one was broken.
Great food and coffee! The eggs Benedict was delicious, as was the elk sausage.
My wife and I went for breakfast. She had the highland pudding and I had 3 eggs scrambled with ham. All the food was very good. You ordered at the register, then take a seat and wait, not long. Good size servings. Good Food
We had a late breakfast in this place (served until 11:30) Almond banana waffle was fluffy and not too sweet Teens said biscuits were really good Granola bowl was full of raisins and fruits. Overall a great experience
Ordered the cinnamon French toast. It was really dry and seamed alittle stale. Could not finish eating it. What a waist. We are from out of state. For the price we paid I think we will try somewhere else next time.
Extremely friendly staff, clean facilities, dang good food. Well worth a visit!
Have gone here the past 2 days and aside from the wait, the food has been great. As some mentioned, it can definitely take some time for food to be prepared but both times everything came out hot. Definitely no microwave meals here.
Omg. So glad we saw this on the way to s Dakota Best breakfast I've had in a very long time. If you have kids. Get the moose waffles. Even I ate some. Mmm. Eggs Benedict amazing. Overall great experience
