So freaking good!! The food was great and very filling. I thought The pictures looked smaller. But these are big plates. So good I will come back when I'm in town for work.

This restaurant is within walking distance of the nearby Holiday Inn Express. We split a chicken fajita. The chips were served with a salsa and a delicious chopped mushroom dip. Best ever have had with chips. Staff was very friendly and attentive. It was more than enough and very tasty. Really nice Mexican decorations throughout. Located at 624 Rae Lynn Street.

Best Mexican Food in all Grand Junction Metro. I love this nice, comfy, homely restaurant. The service is outstanding. I ordered multiple plates and every plate has been exceptional! My favorite is their Carne Asada lunch special. All the plates come to the table HOT. Stop reading the reviews! this place is great.

If you are a veggie lover, the veggie fajitas are for you! They add carrots, zucchini and broccoli to the blend in addition to the traditional mushrooms, onions and peppers. Seasoned deliciously! Another thing I like about Mi Mexico is that they serve black beans.

Not my Mexico....Sub standard service as well as Sub standard food. That's all I can say about Mi Mexico in Grand Junction. I am still in search of authentic Mexican food in this town. If you have any recommendations fellow Yelpers please let The Hungry Hardhat know about it. So let it be written... So let it be EATEN.

Huge portions and great service! They were able to fit all five us in right away. The only downfall is the address is still the old location so it took us forever to find the actual location. It's not by TJ Max. It's on 24 Road next to City Market. I highly recommend them though.

We were driving through and had a service dog and they were kind enough to open the patio so that we could have our puppy on the patio with us. The food was delicious and I would recommend this place anytime

I finally found their newer location by City Market near 25 road. Address is 624 Rae Lynn street Grand Junction. The carne asada lunch portion was very satisfying. They make their own corn tortillas and the rice and beans were reminiscent of our Mexican grandma's cooking. ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! I would have taken a picture but forgot as I couldn't resist eating the hot juicy meat. I recommend getting the meat medium since its so thin that it cooks a little much if you ask for well done. The salsa had the right about of spice and the mushroom pico is also delicious. I'm coming back to try more!!

Quick, friendly service. Good food and drinks. I personally wasn't the biggest fan of the queso dip as opposed to the white queso, but may be a personal preference.

We visited this restaurant which is following protocol and thoroughly enjoyed it. The entire staff were friendly, helpful and very attentive. Bravo to the manager that hired and trained them, very well done! The food was absolutely delicious and plenty of variety for every spice level. I had the seafood enchiladas and the hubby had the 3 enchiladas divorced platter. Both dishes (we tried each others) were served hot, fresh and wonderful. Not to mention plentiful, we had to leave some behind and we are hearty eaters. Take the time to go and enjoy this place. We will definitely go back and highly recommend!

They've really got take-out down! Same HUGE portions as always and the food travels really well. Carne Asada and Pollo con Crema are a couple favs.
