This is a great centrally located hotel to all the Ski Areas that we wanted to Ski at this year. It is a 10 min ride to Abasin, walking distance (4 min ride) to the Peru Express at Keystone, and 30 min to Breck. Rooms are clean and nice. Free Breakfast is a great perk when you are planning a day on the mountain. Overall great experience. Hope to see you next year!

Employees are basically racist. In some cases, basic amenities are not provided.Even on my first visit, I heard racist comments.Even though it is a Hyatt hotel, it is the worst.

I stayed here a couple weeks ago with a large group. Everything was pre-paid for our trip. One thing that was concerning as when we checked in they wanted a credit card in case of any damages. They put a pending charge of $2200 on our card that remain there all week. That seemed a little ridiculous. The location of this is great. It was only a 5 to 10 minute walk to the lift. The continental breakfast was great and the servers in the morning were fantastic. The housekeepers came every day and did a great job. That’s really the only positives of this place. The negativesThe rooms are very small. The hot tubs every day had over 6 inches of foam. Obviously, there was some type of chemical problem. When we tried to leave, we had two people who are injured and were in wheelchairs. It snowed the night before and there was 8 inches of snow on the handicap ramp. We asked for snow shovel so we could shovel it and we’re told that they did not have any snow shovels available. There are also cars parked in the end in front of the stairs so we could not wheel in between them. This was an inconvenient and most likely a fire hazard. The last straw what is win we checked out and our entire group was hit with bogus charges. Personally, I had $250 in resort fees and an extra nights days that were bogus. Took me five phone calls to straighten this out.

I don't leave many reviews that aren't 5 stars but I can't rightfully give this place 5. I stay here roughly once a month on average to skip the I-70 drive. Staff is great here. I have a Hyatt associate in the family and always stay Hyatt for the discount and to rack up points. The rooms are nice enough but this hotel is dated. They've facelifted the areas that matter, but for what they ask for a room in peak season it just doesn't stack up. You stay at much nicer hotels for the same price. Alot of weekends require a 2-night stay to even book, and my friends and family discount is only available when they're a couple days out from being underbooked. They are dog friendly which is a major plus, and the fee covers your entire stay up to a week. I like this hotel, just don't love it... and certainly won't pay $400+ for a night here. If the base rate is over $200 I'm scrolling past.

We had a great weekend at this location. It was a stormy and snowy few days but we felt comfortable the whole time. We had a few room issues but customer service was great and they made it right. Nice breakfast but nothing special. The only downside is parking. Super chaotic. Overall great visit though.

This is clearly one of the most – if not the most – popular Hyatt property in the US for ski stays on points and free night stays. That’s the reason we chose it, and the value we received for the points we used (especially as compared to other properties so close to skiing) is fantastic. Now, had I paid for this stay, I’d be pretty irritated. The good:- Staff are really great. Helpful, organized (amid some major chaos), and reliable.- King Suite is huge with two full bathrooms – almost 1,000 sq ft – and there are tons of these suites, so chances of Globalist upgrade or of using Suite Upgrade Reward are high- Location is great. Obvs right at base of Keystone, but also a very quick drive to both Copper and A Basin- As mentioned above, value for points stays is highThe bad:- Breakfast is horrible. If Motel 6 had breakfast, it would most likely be better than this. Mostly pre-packaged stuff / very little fresh stuff. Not nearly enough space for a property of this size. You’ll see- Two elevators for huge property. Regularly waited ~10 minutes for elevator- Parking – absolute chaos – they have valet ($$), but if you’re going to self park (which still – in theory – costs) good luck finding a spot.- Back to elevators – it seems that most guests here aren’t aware of etiquette (let people off before getting in) … you’re regularly having to body check people with skis as they push in the elevator when you’re trying to exit- Resort fees are high so make sure you take advantage of all of the “benefits”- The bath towels are awful. And tiny.- Overall, the place is just plain chaotic – bring AdvilOtherwise- You get a key to a ski locker (number matches your room number). Lockers are in the underground area- There are three very small hot tubs: 6th floor, 5th floor, and ground level- There’s one washing machine ($2 per load) and 2 driers on the 6th floor- A few good restaurants that are a 2-min walk from the hotel

Great location with comfortable no frills rooms. Convenient bar with good service in the lobby that will serve food until late. Breakfast needs to improve. Convenient place to stay when skiing. Shuttle stop in front of hotel runs every 30 minutes.

I have to say, the staff made our weekend!! We had a large group of family staying in multiple rooms at this property and every single person mentioned how helpful and kind the front desk staff were throughout their entire stay. Thank you Andy and friends for taking such good care of all of us!

This has become my favorite Summit County hotel. I stay here regularly during ski season for days at Keystone or Breck. Walk to Peru lift is very convenient. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly . Housekeeping always does a great job and front desk staff will do their best to accommodate. Property is older but well kept and it seems like it was spruced up a little over the off-season.One advantage of Hyatt over Hilton or Marriott is better bedding standards at lower tier properties so expect nicer mattress and sheets than a Hampton or a Courtyard. The rooms are spacious and Mountain View is nice if you opt for it.My kids love the hot tubs. Free breakfast at this property is a nice option but not quite on par with what you’d find at the competing flags though. There are a few dining options within walking distance as well.
