The food/drinks were phenomenal and thanks to Nick we learned so much about the establishment and the history. What a great time! ?

I had the pleasure of staying at the lodge this week, and it was amazing. Great location, cozy atmosphere, and great food. Super comfy beds. They were turned down and the room was tidied up every day when I came back in, and I really appreciated that. The very best part of it all was Francisco. He made us feel as if we were the only guests there. He was so kind and really went the extra mile to take care of us. We did not get to spend much time with the rest of the staff because of their schedules and our trip dates but with the few interactions we had with them we think they’re wonderful too! I recommend this place to anyone and I will be staying again.

One of the most wholesome dining experiences I’ve ever had. Our server, Scott, was the definition of a professional host - kind, considerate, quick with suggestions and extremely knowledgeable of the entire menu, the history of the lodge, and Keystone in general. The food was incredible.

My husband and I ate here while we were on vacation last month. It was one of the best meals we have ever had!! Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu and the history of the Keystone area. He persuaded us to try the Roasted Butternut Squash Bisque with the cherry maple foam, and he was right. It was amazing! Every dish had really great elements that worked well together. I especially liked the Huckleberry Pork Belly, delicious!

The price of the room was a lot compared to the room you get. I understand it's historical significance, however the bathroom and bed quality is where they could've made the room worth the money. Overall nice place with a ton of history and great food.

First the service was superb, waiter was super helpful and made great recommendations. The food was excellent and best restaurant in Summit County!Make sure to eat dessert in the room with the fireplace as the fireplace is a must see.

Probably one of the best meals we’ve ever eaten. Dominic was the perfect server and the sommelier was so knowledgeable. The atmosphere was very welcoming. But the real praise in this review needs to go to the chef! 5 stars! We can’t wait to return.

Wow what an incredible experience. Ski tip is a bed and breakfast as well as a fine dining restaurant. A unique combination but Zach and his team absolutely hit it out of the water. The rooms are very nice, clean and homey. We did not dine for dinner until our last evening here for a birthday celebration. The included breakfast for the b&b was nice, the menu stays the same but the quality was decent.Where Ski Tip truly shines and sets itself apart from others is this dinner service. They offered a four course meal on a weekly rotating menu. Wow the food was amazing, the service outstanding and the vibe unmatched. Firstly the service, you could tell the staff knew their stuff. Dom was our primary server and he went into detail on the menu offerings, wine pairing and specifics of where each dish/item was from. I have traveled the world and eaten in some of the most esteemed culinary regions and never have I had this level of knowledge about the menu. The food was all amazing and everyone at our table really enjoyed every dish - clean plates all around. I did not catch the chefs name but wow they deserve a shout out.Cindy Lou was primarily with us in the dessert room (by the fire); she was amazing and super friendly as well. The staff was unique in that they are down to earth yet still so professional. They do not have a stuck up pretentious fine dining attitude; they have a friendly approach. It is amazing to experience this. One specific example was at check in on Monday Zach asked about our upcoming dinner reservation on Thursday I casually mentioned that we where excited for the reservation as my birthday was the next day and they took note and acted upon this without being prompted again.Really cannot sing Zach, Dom, Cindy Lou, Chef l and the entire Ski Tip lodge staff enough praise’s. I just hope they are able to maintain the feeling of “home” which they have right now.Rooms: They are not the high tech recently renovated rooms of time square. They are perfect for a romantic/family stay. The rooms do not have TV’s (as alluded to and mentioned on the webpage). They are the perfect quiet ski lodgeNearby activities: There is tons of winter activities to do right now, we mostly went skiing but there was dog sledding, snow tubing, ice skating, hot springs and so much more to do.

I hate to write this review because my family has loved coming to Ski Tip Lodge for dinner for many years. Last night was a disappointment. They have added more tables so the small restaurant was loud and cramped. I felt like we were eating in the hallway. Since there were 7 of us, they did not make an effort for us to enjoy dessert in another room. That was always such a special touch and we have have dined there with the same number of guests several times in the past and still were able to move for dessert. I also was disappointed with the food. Few people at our table raved about anything. In the past, we would have thought that each course was incredible. Last night, we felt full but the food was not outstanding - it was fine. The mushroom soup was especially forgettable. I don’t know if there was a management change or if STL is just suffering from tighter profit margins - it just wasn’t magical like it was in the past. We will not be driving so far and spending that much for an average dinner again. Makes me sad.

(Review for restaurant only) Very delicious and filling 4-course meal. It was a fixed price for the entire meal, which was a nice change from conventional restaurants. Plating and presentation was good, and environment was very cozy.

Worth every penny. Service was impeccable and every single bite of food was amazing. I have been lucky enough to have dinner here multiple times and every single time I am blown away by how fabulous the meal is and how amazing the staff is. This is a must go to restaurant.

It had been a couple years since our last visit/meal here. We were very impressed with the current chef and wait staff. As always, the soup course shined, and the entrees were fantastic. Lamb lollipops, duck breast, seared Tuna, pork chop and filets were all outstanding. And in Ski Tip fashion, the side dishes were great - and you never leave hungry! We will be back soon

Fun historical restaurant with great food and atmosphere. Definitely a special occasion place, but worth the visit, especially if your into a bit of early American ski history. We didn't stay overnight but had a lovely dinner.Food & drinks: We celebrated our anniversary and were treated very well. The menu is prix-fix and you can choose from a nice selection of courses for a complete meal. Everything was presented beautifully and was delicious.
