Grabowski's Pizzeria Lakewood

Not sure how they are still open. Rarely busy and food is mediocre. Tried it twice and we are done. The atmosphere is nice, way too big of a game room tho. Good luck owners.

We went for a quick bite and were shocked to see how empty the restaurant was at 4:45 on a Friday night. We ordered a beer and a ceasar salad to start. The ceasar salad was not quite our taste, as it had a strong anchovy and garlic after taste with a layer of oil remaining in the bowl afterwards. We didn't finish the salad and hoped the pizza would be good...however we were very disappointed with the pizza as well. We ordered a peperoni and mushroom pizza and the crust was so crispy it felt like we were eating thick chips. The crust was tough and tore up my husband's mouth and mine so we left the majority of the pizza behind. It was not to our liking and we will not be returning. Our server didn't even question it when she asked if we wanted a to go box and we declined with 3/4 of a pizza remaining.

Best tavern style pizza in the Denver area

I have ordered take out 3 times now and my family and I have DEVOURED all 6 pizzas without hesitation. Each pizza was made perfectly and quite honestly, they were some of the most beautiful looking pizzas I've ever seen! I really wish I would have taken a photo of the 1st pizza because it was gorgeous AND delicious! We cannot wait to try the next monthly special and wish Grabowski's much success!

Grabowski’s makes our favorite pizza in the area. It’s delicious tavern cut pizzas are true to those found in the Midwest that I grew up with. Our kids love playing the pinball and arcade games too. The service is friendly and just an overall wonderful establishment.

Having previously enjoyed Grabowski's at their original RiNo location in Denver, we were excited to try their new Lakewood spot.

We started with the Burrata Affogato, which was a highlight - creamy burrata, flavorful marinara, and garlic toast, what's not to love? For our main course, we chose a pepperoni and sausage tavern-cut pizza. While the toppings and overall bake were good, the crust was a noticeable departure. It simply lacked that signature crispiness we loved from the RiNo location.

Overall, Grabowski's in Lakewood is a decent option for Chicago-style pizza, but it didn't quite live up to our expectations. If you're in the area and craving a tavern-style pie, it's worth checking out, especially if you can snag a spot on the patio. But be aware that it might not be quite as good as it once was.

$70 for a large pep pizza and salad to be delivered. Pizza came severely under cooked yet somehow the tiny poor excuses for pepperoni were burnt… OH.. and no salad came with it. How are we supposed to pretend to be somewhat healthy when the salad doesn’t even show up? We did get $15 back for the salad but that was from Door Dash. When this place was down town, the pizza was so much better. Ours had about 2 drops of sauce on it last night. Pizza isn’t hard to make. Do better Grabowskis, or I’m going to start a competing restaurant and put y’all out of business.

Great shop! Took some Grabowski’s pizza to a medical clinic and the staff loved the thin crust Italian pizza!

We went to grabowski’s for my sons birthday. Our server Mike was great! His attention to detail and service was amazing!

Came in for a quick slice last night and had a great time! Good drink options, nice salad bar. Mike was our server and he was personable and knowledgeable about the menu. Will defo be back!
